Jason was an absolute star to work with. He was a consultant when one was needed, he was flexible with other contractors we had on site at the same time, he came with solutions rather than just highlighting problems. He is a great guy in general, he delivered on a tight timeline, and the work is amazing. Do yourself a favor and consider him for your painting needs!

We had a link in the drains for our 2nd floor bathroom. In order to repair the leak, 2/3 of the ceiling needed to be pulled down and one section of a wall. We hired Otts to do the finishing work. He kept us informed on how long it would take and what was involved, sealing off our living room where the work was to be preformed. The initial date for him to start was the week of Thanksgiving. He let us know that he wouldn't be able to complete the entire project that week and gave us the option of starting the following week.
During the repairs, the plumbers had to open up section of two other walls. Jason took care of these with no issues. Due to the age of the house, he found that the ceiling drywall was 3/8" and not the normal 5/8" running 24" on center. He added additional support and was able to match up the ceiling thickness and texture with the rest of the ceiling. He was also able to match up the texture of the repaired walls to the existing walls which are plaster. Jason also insured the paint on the repaired walls matched the existing walls.

This guy absolutely ruined our house. He didn’t finish his work, but he turned a full bill into the insurance company. He tried to sue me for demanding insurance not pay him this. He cut the holes twice as big as the switch boxes and plug ins. He had no craftsmanship whatsoever. We have an open stairway, and he said he was going to cover it, but he didn't, so now it's all beat up. We've gotten an estimate that it would take $6000 to fix this damage. We now have cracks in the sheet rock he put up. When he left, I had talked to him on a Monday morning. I asked him how long he had left to paint, and he said all week. That Tuesday, he was packed up and gone. Some walls had nothing more than primer on them. I have pictures to document what he did to my home. We ended up having to replace all of the trim work and door jambs in the old part of the home. His insurance company awarded us $5400 for damage to the stairway.
