Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. It can help to remove water from your concrete quickly, though, as the faster you remove rain from the surface, the lower the risk of the water affecting the ratio of your concrete mix. Use squeegees or mops to remove water, and consider covering your slab with a tarp to protect it from future rainfall.

You primarily need to be concerned about the moisture level in concrete when you are dealing with a basement or other below-ground part of your house.
