I contacted "Shamrock Chimney" and scheduled an appointment with their lead technician "Tony". He suggested a less costly and safer alternative (steel liner and a resealing of the outer brickwork. The work was performed over a two-day period. I am fully satisfied with the results. One thing I really apricate is the communication during the project. The "front office" would let me know by either phone or email when the project would start, and then Tony and would give me updates. All and all the whole process went smoothly. Also, this was my first time with "Angi", I hope to use their services again in the future."

"Everything went great -- initial consultation, installation, account set-up and ongoing monitoring. The alarm went off twice in the past year. The first time, my dog set it off because I had a motion-detection monitor in a place that wasn't high enough. I was in a meeting at work and didn't receive the call from the monitoring entity, so the police were notified and came to my home and inspect (everything was fine). The second time, I accidentally triggered the alarm myself while at home. The monitoring service called me, I provided the passcode to prove it was me and everything was alright, and the police were not notified. So this basically works just like any costly alarm service -- with the same level of quality, professionalism and customer service -- but is far less expensive. I paid about $100 for the equipment and the monthly monitoring fee for the plan I selected is $42.99, which includes remote access to activate and deactivate the system (through an app available for Apple and Droid devices).
