  It’s very rare when I write a review for services performed based on an online estimate and the first words that come to mind are honest and trustworthy. I placed the ad to have someone come fix or replace the HDMI cable in my elderly father‘s living room TV. And any of you with aging parents know that the TV is vital! I placed the ad on a Saturday and Chris was at my door at 9 AM Sunday morning. I am in a wheelchair and am unable to get into the cabinets where the router and cable box are stored. It turned out the only thing wrong was the HDMI cable managed to come loose and it Chris plugged it in and got it working right away. Then I asked him to please look at the ethernet port in my bedroom because it was not showing as having a landline. And somehow, yet again, the Ethernet cord had come out of the router, he plugged it right in and get it working as well. Other contractors could have drug their feet and made the project last a lot longer and overcharge for work that did not need to be done. While he was at my house, I found out that he is a jack of all trades! That day I had him cut out the back of a piece of the cabinet to get the cable box to sit flat. I already have him scheduled to come back for some plumbing issues and some handyman issues that I have outside of my house. If you are looking for someone reliable and extremely talented in all facets of repair work, I would highly suggest you pick Red Beard Handyman Service. You will not regret it.   I was unable to lock my mahogany wood front doors. I was unable to get the deadbolt to correctly get into the strike plate. Thus, I had a unlocked front door. I called A-Access and Teddy came by the next morning to check the lock. The deadbolt was striking the top of the strike plate because the stationary door settled a bit. Teddy shaved the top edge of the strike plate and then the lock worked perfectly. I'm glad I called right away as I may have damaged the locking system by forcing the key to turn.   Shane the owner of the business arrived promptly to come and see what the work we needed done was. He was extremely professional and courteous and prompt with providing us with the quote for the services needed. We set up our time to get the work done which was a couple weeks out from when we received our quote, which was a good indicator to us that they are a highly sought after service. On the day of the service Sal arrived on time to start the work. Sal was amazing friendly, polite and highly competent when it came to getting everything done. The job took him a couple hours over the initial quoted time due to some previously unknown issues with the plumbing under the sink overall we were beyond impressed with the quality of work done and the character of Sal and Shane as they only charged us for the initial quoted time of 5 hours.   He called ahead and let me know he was done with a job early, so he could get to me early. He was here an hour before my appointment time. There was one small snafu, when the globe to the ceiling fan light fell and broke, but he left immediately and went to the hardware store and bought a replacement.   Booking was easy through Angie's List SnapFix, however, when I originally scheduled the service, Shane was unable to complete the work. He said he would need to come back the next day, after further inspection, with his carpenter to do the work. I appreciated his honesty, but was tight on time for the work to be done. This could have been rectified had the photo on SnapFix been shared with Shane (Angie's List problem, not Eager Beaver). I had rescheduled with Shane for 3 PM the next day. He did not show on-time, which I found frustrating with my tight timeline. However, once he arrived with his carpenter the job was quick, easy and right. I appreciate the work, just wished the scheduling and punctuality was done better. I would use Shane again for future jobsshow more
