When there’s too much chlorine in your pool, you might experience symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Tears are also common in vinyl liners between five and 20 years after installation. While leaks in pool piping are common, it does happen, and so they should be tested after you've ruled out other possibilities. 

If you’re wondering how to find a leak in an aboveground pool, the process is the same as it is for an in-ground pool. Note that the vinyl liner in aboveground pools is fairly thin, so sharp objects easily puncture it.
