"He does a great job taking care of my lawn. Mows, weeds, sprayâ s for weeds and takes care of the leaves in the fall I had a rather large tree limb fall across my driveway and he cut it up and removed all of the debris . He keeps my lawn looking wonderful. Heâ s always very polite and is hard working. Any one that hires S&S lawn care will be getting the best !!"

To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.

Yes, vinegar can be an effective way to kill individual dandelion plants to help in the hand-removal process. However, vinegar can also kill turfgrass, so use a targeted spray.

They regularly monitor health, applying preventative fungicides and providing customized care to reduce disease risks.

Buffalo grass is not a dense grass, so weeds can grow between the buffalo grass plants. However, as long as you don’t overwater your lawn, weeds have a hard time growing. If you do notice weeds, you can use granular herbicides that are safe for buffalo grass in early and late summer.

The best way to keep voles from tunneling in your yard is to keep grass trimmed and bushes cut back from the ground at least 5 inches. Cleaning up yard debris, wood chip piles, and brush piles can also help keep voles at bay. If you notice vole activity, you can also remove bird feeders since these are a ready source of food for the tunneling rodents.
