"I was referred to Oceans Blue Family Cleaning and Services by a friend, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I originally scheduled a deep cleaning, and from the moment they arrived, their professionalism stood out. They were thorough, respectful, and incredibly detail oriented. When I say they left my house spotless, I mean spotless it was hands down the best deep cleaning I’ve ever had. I was so impressed that I immediately scheduled them for regular biweekly cleanings, and I’ve been a loyal client ever since. The quality and consistency of their service is unmatched. I have recommended them to all my contacts looking for a cleaning service. If you’re looking for reliable, top-tier cleaning with a personal and professional touch, I highly, highly, highly recommend Oceans Blue Family Cleaning and Services!"

"They were good. I’m not a fan of the steamer for the floor. Especially when so much dirt on the pad when they left. Not sure how much was put back on the floor. Missed cleaning behind the kitchen trash can. Light switches and hand prints on doors were cleaned off. I did really appreciate that."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

The cost for professional blind or shade cleaning can range from $10 to $50 per blind. The final price depends on factors like the blind's material, size, and the specific cleaning method used. For example, cleaning aluminum Venetian blinds may cost between $10 and $34 per blind, while more complex roller blinds can range from $18 to $50. You may also encounter additional fees for cleaning supplies.

To darken your windows without curtains, try installing window film or even installing an awning outside your windows. Window film is a DIY-friendly option with many different darkness levels you can choose from to fit your desired look. Awnings can also help by casting shade over your window, though this isn’t feasible for every home.

In general, shades and blinds are the most common window coverings used today because they create unobtrusive, sleek profiles that fit into any space. In addition, blinds and shades are extremely easy to use. Most operate using either a pull system or wand. While most blinds and shades sold by retailers are available in a wide range of sizes that are made to fit standard windows, customers can also order custom shades and blinds for windows that are hard to fit.

A lace curtain may block some of the biggest insects from entering while still allowing a breeze to get through. If your concern is privacy, then curtains and blinds will provide better privacy than window screens; for UV protection, you can choose specialty windows or UV-blocking film. And if you just want an inexpensive, temporary solution, there are adhesive or magnetic screen panels you can install for an hour, a day, or a season.
