"The service was performed well. I am very happy with the work. I wish they could have cleaned the dryer vent, but it was on the roof, however they did try to do all they could but due to liability issues they were not able to clean them."

I'm seeking opportunities to help homeowners reorganize and tidy up their home. I'm pretty thorough and comfortable organizing if desired. I'm a bleach fan and firmly believe in it's use on specific items like toliets, sinks, laundry rooms and kitchen cabinets. I'm an all experiences cleaner from puke on the rug to bloody sheets and clothes. I would super love cleaning and decluttering and organizing important space, that's my bread and butter. Pay is negotiable just email [email protected] using good job as the subject. Average HOUR is $20.

Vinegar, bleach, chlorine, barley straw, and a bevy of dedicated algaecides can kill algae, which is the easy part. Preventing algae from returning can be a struggle for some homeowners, but keeping the patio well-maintained and clean is a good first step.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Long-handled telescopic brushes are the best way to clean the outside of a house without a pressure washer. There are even special attachments for cleaning the outside of windows. Use a gentle cleaning solution for both the roof and siding to avoid harming the finishes. Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly with a garden hose after scrubbing.

While DIY cleaning is feasible, it's risky without proper equipment or experience. Hiring professionals ensures safety and effectively avoids damage.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.
