"A two-man team, Carlos (owner) and Alberto, both totally experienced, completed our two jobs in one day. The first job was to replace rotting siding on two dormer; the second was to replace missing stone shingles on our chimney and seal shingles all around the chimney that showed gaps. We're very happy with their work. Carlos likes to get to his jobs with no delay. They came the day after we agreed to his estimate, which was very reasonable. Carlos is friendly and easygoing, and explains all aspects of the job."

"Cam was awesome! He showed up early (as requested), did a great job assembling my son's crib, cleaned up afterwards, and was so pleasant to deal with. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman!"

Basketball Goals questions, answered by experts

Yes, repurposing an existing tennis or basketball court is one of the cheapest and fastest ways to get a playable pickleball space. If the surface is in good shape, all you need to do is repaint the lines and install a pickleball net. If the surface is cracked or uneven, resurfacing may be necessary, which adds to the cost but is still cheaper than building from scratch.

Yes, you can use a tennis court as a pickleball court. You just need to draw pickleball lines on the tennis court to use it as a pickleball court. You'll also want to adjust the net or purchase an adjustable net for convenience and lower it by 2 inches at the center. You can even create two or four pickleball courts out of a single tennis court for larger sports events. The key is to divide the court down to the correct ratios using chalk, a washable marker, or tape.

Regularly clean debris, fill cracks promptly, and apply protective coatings to extend surface life.

Tennis courts typically last between 10 and 25 years, but the lifespan heavily depends on the court type and how well it’s maintained. Clay and grass courts can last indefinitely with proper maintenance. Hard courts usually last between 15 and 25 years, while artificial turf courts last 10 to 15 years. However, you need to resurface many courts every five years or so to maintain their appearance and playability.

Both indoor and outdoor basketball courts are excellent options, and the best choice depends on factors like your local climate, available space, and budget. As long as the court and hoop dimensions are standard, any player can get a great workout and improve their skills on either type of court.

The primary drawback of an outdoor court is that weather, such as rain and wind, can hinder playing time. An indoor court solves this problem, allowing you to play anytime. However, installing an indoor court can be costly and takes up a significant amount of space that might otherwise serve as a living area.
