Our founder and owner Joshua Hardee holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, and is a Certified Pool and Hot Tub Operator. Joshua is a Second Generation Pool/Hot Tub industry professional. He has verifiable experience starting at age 9 working as assistant with his father in the industry. As the time passed Joshua would spend his afternoons and summer breaks from school learning and growing in his experience. By age 16 he was performing complex repairs and directing a crew. Fast forward to present day, Joshua is an established veteran in the Pool and Hot Tub industry. He expanded heavily into the Commercial Pool/Hot Tub industry and has pioneered exclusive business contracts and services for our clients that no one else is offering currently in the business. We are available to our customers 24/7 and don't charge emergency rates. We offer top notch services and products at highly competitive prices. We are typically more affordable than all our competition because of our unique position. Because we do not operate a Brick and Mortar Retail storefront, we don't have all the overhead many businesses do. In turn we pass that savings on to our customers. Reliable, Professional Service at an Affordable Price. We are fully Insured. We really enjoy making pool and spa ownership a breeze. Pools and Spas should be enjoyable and stress free. Furthermore we enjoy putting our multi trade experience to use. From Plumbing, Carpentry, Masonry/Tile, Basic Electrical, Painting, and much more, there's not much we can't do or manage.

"Joshua, the owner of Down East Pools hired our company to deliver the rock for a residential pools. Aug 2021 (2 separate properties) In one instance we paid for the rock on OUR ACCOUNT. Its October and we are still waiting for the full amount owed. We're trying to recover from COVID and he's taking advantage of us! I went to the residence where the rock was delivered and the property owner said he fired Joshua also. He lied so much! NOT PROFESSIONAL! Do not use him, he doesn't pay his bills."

"They were 3 months late in completing my total renovation. The finished product is acceptable EXCEPT the new skimmer they installed has leaked from the beginning. I finally after months of calling I got someone to come and fix...HOWERVER, it is still leaking and I can no get anyone to return my calls."

NC Licensed landscape contractors with over 30 employees. Full range of equipment skid steers, excavators, dump trucks for residential and commercial applications. NC irrigation license, certified in concrete paver installs and retaining wall installs. Woman owned business. Belgard hard scape installs eligible for zero percent financing for 12 months. Belgard certified contractor.

"Payed them do come install a liner in my pool, scheduled the appointment a month out, had Roger the owner out the measure and order materials needed. On the 19th no call, no show, 20, 21st until I threatened legal action did he come out on the 22nd. He hadn't even ordered the liner, sent some "crew" to do the job who never turned my pump off and left it running without water for 4 days, melted the piping, and blew tge rear seal in the pump. Didn't put the jet fittings back on the pool, then offered, and stated he had the right to come do the repair. Save yourself alot of headache from someone who does bad business, breaks more than they fix, and has 0 accountability for any of this process."
