"I was really pleased with their work, community and quality! They painted my entire house in couple days and came back right after we moved in to do some touch ups! I am already hiring them again to stain our deck. 5 stars all around!"

"I was overjoyed to find Legacy Painting because I was looking for someone to remove wallpaper and paint. I had had two painters turn down the job because they found out that wallpaper removal was involved. Needless to say, I was overjoyed to meet Amy. She was reliable, extremely hardworking and professional. She did an incredibly immaculate job removing the wallpaper, repairing, priming, and painting the walls in my hallway. She quoted me a price, stuck to it, and got the job done, sometimes working on her own when I had to go out. Since practically my whole house has wallpaper, I will certainly be using her services again. She can definitely be trusted to do a fantastic job! After that project, I hired Amy to refinish my front wooden door which was dry as a bone and mildewed. Again, she did a beautiful job cleaning, sanding, and refinishing the door. She mixed her own stain, consulting with me on the color. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. In addition, for a small additional price, she stained some naughty dog scratches on two other wooden surfaces. I couldn't recommend her more highly."

"Outstanding workmanship, super work ethics, and reliable on site. We had a kitchen, Great Room, hallway and bath reworked. It is a huge messy job but this team saved us the hassle and did a better job than I could do. A+++ Note: if you need a ceiling scrapped, be prepared to not use those spaces. We were able to adapt our kitchen some and lived in the rest of our home while work was in process."

"Jeff and Katrina at Bragg On Your Home are awesome. He is very professional and always showed up on time and answered my calls promptly. We had our loft walled in to make it totally enclosed to use as a bedroom. The job was done well and on time, we had a misunderstanding and Jeff worked with us about our concern to our satisfaction. I hired a painter at the same time to remove the popcorn ceiling in the living room and kitchen and to do some painting including the new wall, we needed sheet rock repair done to the ceilings that the painter could not do and Jeff did the work for us even though it was not his responsibility and part of our original project causing him to spend an extra half day at our house and pushing back on his schedule, so we could have the job finished without delay. The extra cost for the sheet rock work seemed reasonable to us as well. We also had a family emergency right after the work was done and before I could make the final payment, after trying many times to reach me unsuccessfully, Katrina sent an email voicing a concern for our well-being first and foremost, and they always made me feel like they really cared about their clients as people and not just another job to do! I really recommend Jeff and his company for your remodeling needs."

"Keith did a great job.  I got 3 bids and his was the most competitive.  It took him and his crew 4 days to complete my 3600 sq. ft. home.  Most of this time he was on his own in my new house since I was moving.  I told him he needed to be complete by the time the furniture arrived.  When the moving truck pulled up, his team was pulling out!  My house looked beautiful and everything was cleaned up and tidy.  He was very honest and trustworthy.  I will hire him again."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.

Many peel-and-stick wallpapers aren’t moisture-resistant, so if you install them in high-humidity rooms, mold can grow behind the wallpaper. It’s best to reserve peel-and-stick wallpaper for bedrooms, living rooms, and other rooms with lower humidity levels. Not only does this minimize the risk of mold growth, but it also keeps the wallpaper from bubbling or peeling.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

The average cost to remove wood paneling is $2,800, but total costs may be higher or lower depending on the size of the room, your location, and the amount of prep work required. Once the paneling is gone, you may have additional costs depending on the condition of the wall beneath.

Hiring a professional wallpaper hanger is usually a worthwhile idea because, while the application of wallpaper itself is easy, getting the finished product to look good is complicated and takes a lot of practice and patience. A professional wallpaper hanger will not only be able to hang your wallpaper seamlessly, but they will also get an even application of wallpaper paste to avoid bubbling and imperfections immediately and over time. Plus, they can provide their professional opinion on whether to remove or wallpaper over an existing layer of wallpaper.
