Small jobs welcome

"Excellent work from start to finish! I hired Stonecrest Construction to clear trees, level and prepare a pad for a future garage, and install a new driveway off of my existing driveway. They removed the grass, properly graded everything, and created a solid, clean driveway and garage pad. I’m extremely impressed with how everything turned out. The work was done professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. They completely transformed the area and left everything looking clean and well-finished. I would absolutely recommend Stonecrest Construction to anyone needing excavation, grading, land clearing, or driveway work. Great company and great work!"

"Parks Waterproofing’s expertise helped strengthen the long term stability of our home for years to come. Their problem solving skills were invaluable to a successful installation of their drainage system. Soon after installation there was significant area wide flooding and the system and grading improvements to our home worked great! The entire crew was a pleasure to work with and it's easy to recommend them."

"Last fall I enjoyed working with Rocky Ridge Paving LLC on a private driveway project, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to quality were evident in every aspect of the job. Communication with the owners was exceptional. Evan and Josh listened to my needs and preferences, offering valuable insights and suggestions. Their transparent and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was thoroughly impressed by the skill and efficiency of the Rocky Ridge Paving crew. They arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete the project before the agreed-upon timeline. Their attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of the paving was of the highest quality. I was pleasantly surprised by their commitment to cleanliness and safety throughout the project. They maintained a tidy work environment, followed safety protocols, and worked responsibly. Not only did Rocky Ridge Paving deliver on its promises, but it also exceeded my expectations. The workmanship is top-notch, and I have received numerous compliments on the result. "I had MGT Enterprise to build me a 850 ft gravel driveway, installed 2 drain tiles for the water drainage, cleared off 2 acres and completely graded the land for my house to be built on, and cleared the land for my septic field. They called around and found the most reasonable prices for the job. When the owner gave me an estimate, everything was itemized just as I asked so I could understand what was being spent. MGT Enterprise was very responsive and gave me their professional opinions and described how they would perform all the work when they gave me a quote. Whenever I had questions, they immediately had answers even if I thought they were ridiculous, they never made me feel like I didnt know anything. They were very prompt with job timing and kept me informed through the whole process. They would not leave the job until I came out and they made sure I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any excavation or work in that area."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

When hiring a professional to pressure wash your home, it's crucial to choose a company that is bonded, licensed, and insured. This protects you from liability if any accidents or property damage occur during the service; otherwise, the cost could fall on you. Before making a decision, vet at least three different contractors. Conduct thorough research by reading customer reviews, looking at examples of their previous work, and verifying the company's license. Before signing a contract, ensure you receive a written estimate that details all project costs. It's also wise to ask potential contractors a series of questions to gauge their professionalism and experience, such as:

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • What are your credentials?

  • What cleaning methods do you use?

  • Do you have a workmanship warranty and insurance?

  • What is your availability?

  • What is your policy if you damage my property?

  • How long will the job take to complete?

  • How much do you charge?

  • What is your cancellation policy?

  • Do you offer a customer satisfaction guarantee or any additional services?

Yes, biodegradable cleaning agents and water-saving techniques minimize environmental impact.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

Pressure washing your home or fence can make a major difference in the appearance and may even help extend the life of the structure you’re cleaning. Some of the most common areas that people pressure wash around their property include:

  • Driveway: $100–$250

  • Patio: $100–$200

  • Fence: $150–$300

  • Gutters: $50–$150

  • Roof: $450–$700

  • Siding: $150–$1,400

  • One-story house: $150–$750

  • Two-story house: $400–$1,400

  • Three-story house: $700–$1,800
