Damage was causing floor sagging and instability in the foundation of the home. (It failed several inspections). I was trying to sell the home and had to have the problem fixed. I had several estimates from general contractors in the Camden area. ALL of them wanted to fix the problem by going through the interior floors to get to the support beams. I did an online request to have an estimate from Canty Foundation. From the initial contact with William Yarbrough/Sales to the Onsite foreman Jonathan Driggers I was impressed. This is a 100 year old home and going thru the inside floors would have created damage that would have been difficult to fix. CANTY did all the work from the crawl space. They were professional and work was completed on time. The home passed all 3 inspections and I completed the sale. When you have a foundation problem I learned to call the experts. "Work done involved removing an old asphalt driveway that was cracked and bulging upwards from large tree roots, removing these tree roots, and installing a new concrete replacement driveway. Owner and contractor, Ezequiel Tejeda, provided a written contract and a very reasonable charge for these services. Despite several unforseen and some personal setbacks (truck breakdown, a LOT MORE TREE ROOTS than expected, flat tire, concrete supplier arriving 3 hrs. late), Mr. Tejeda kept the work moving forward to ensure that the buyer would have a driveway completely installed by the verbally agreed upon completion timeline. Mr. Tejeda, his righthand man, Rene, were true professional craftsmen who obviously took pride in providing the client with a top quality finished product that met or exceeded expectations. Mr. Tejeda explained each step of the process as work progressed, the products being used, and why those products had been chosen. The client's approval was sought before proceeding. All workers put in extended hours each day to get the job done in a timely manner, worked hard, and kept the work area and surrounding yard and neighborhood clean and free of trash.
