"Dan, Tesh and Billy were a great crew. Dan, in particular, was extremely conscientious and thorough. They have all the proper tools and equipment to do the job expertly. They are not the lowest priced duct cleaning service, but you do get what you pay for and if you want to have the job done properly, I would recommend CMR."

"They were good. I’m not a fan of the steamer for the floor. Especially when so much dirt on the pad when they left. Not sure how much was put back on the floor. Missed cleaning behind the kitchen trash can. Light switches and hand prints on doors were cleaned off. I did really appreciate that."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Long-handled telescopic brushes are the best way to clean the outside of a house without a pressure washer. There are even special attachments for cleaning the outside of windows. Use a gentle cleaning solution for both the roof and siding to avoid harming the finishes. Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly with a garden hose after scrubbing.

Soft washing chemicals typically consist of a mix of sodium hypochlorite (or a chemical component of bleach) and water. While sodium hypochlorite and bleach are often thought to be the same thing, there is one small but key difference between the two: sodium hypochlorite comes in powdered rather than liquid form, which means that it’s also more concentrated and more effective from less product overall.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

It generally involves soft washing with eco-friendly detergents to remove contaminants, avoiding high-pressure methods that can damage materials.

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.
