"The workers came on time, made the template for the granite, set up a time for the granite to be installed, and cleaned up. The fabrication and installation of the granite were both excellent! My counter tops look beautiful! Very professional! I would recommend them to anyone wanting quality granite service."

"Tile back splash had been added under the hanging cabinets in the kitchen after the home was built.  I was worried that removing the original back splash that is part of the counter tops would break the tile or create an uneven line that would look terrible.
I was wrong.
Removal of the existing counter tops only took about 45 minutes.  There were 11 pieces of granite needed to complete the job.  The team worked very well and was very professional.
I had gotten two other estimates from other vendors (in Wake Forest).  One quoted a price of $5300 and told he could not
guarantee that kitchen tiles would not broken.  Another quoted a price of $4750 - with 60 percent down BEFORE the work started.
These quotes were for just the kitchen work only and did not include the bathroom.
Leuman (Leo) Perez did not ask for a deposit.
We visited the showroom in Angier - it is inside the production facility.  IT is small but it works - and you can walk outside and select your piece of granite."

Granite Restoration questions, answered by experts

While caulking is handy for quite a bit of jobs, it’s still limited. Any crack or gap larger than 1/4 inch is best left for a more intensive repair job. When you hire house painters, they should run a thorough check to see what they need to repair before they start the job.

Large repairs that caulking typically won’t do well with include cracks or holes larger than a 1/4 inch, rotted wood, or metal surfaces, such as garage doors.

The frequency for sealing granite countertops depends on several factors, including the type of sealant used, the color of the granite, and how heavily the countertops are used. As a general guideline, resealing is often recommended every 12 to 18 months, but some sources suggest it could be as often as every few months or at least once a year.

The type of sealant is a major factor: water-based sealants may need reapplication every six months to a year, while more durable solvent-based sealants can last for five to 10 years. Additionally, factors like heavy kitchen traffic, frequent use of acidic cleaners, and lighter granite colors may require more frequent sealing to prevent staining.

To determine if your countertops need resealing, you can perform a simple water test. Place a few drops of water or a wet paper towel on an inconspicuous area of the granite. After 10 to 15 minutes, check the spot. If the water has beaded up, the seal is still intact. If the water has been absorbed and darkened the stone, it's time to apply a new coat of sealant. You can choose to seal the granite yourself or hire a professional to ensure it's done correctly.

In many cases, it’s worth it to restore stone. Stone restoration generally costs less than replacing the stone entirely, helping to save on the cost of your project while still giving your home’s stone a polished appearance. However, if your stone is very cracked or crumbling to the point of compromising the structural integrity of your home, you may want to consider replacing it. Stone flooring costs range from $6 to $20 per square foot on average.

Professionals remove scratches, stains, and etching, restoring the stone’s natural shine and extending its lifespan.

Yes, baking soda does shine marble. Sprinkle it directly on the marble and let it sit for about five minutes, then wipe it clean with a damp microfiber cloth. If you’d like to make a baking soda paste, then simply mix the baking soda with equal parts water and apply it. You can also add baking soda and dishwashing liquid to a bucket of warm water and mop a marble surface.
