Customers say: Quick response

"Tony was great about strategizing the different issues we had with some of our electrical systems. He brought the supplies he needed, worked the problem so that he could tell me if then wiring was good or if the issues where coming from something else. He also helped make a plan moving forward what we could do if the problem wasnâ t resolved. He has a keen eye for finish work and fixed the botched job from the previous remodel. He stays focused on the work and ensures he doesnâ t overcharge or waste the customers time or money. Iâ d have him back in a heartbeat- great work!"

"I can't thank Ryan enough for coming out to my in-laws home today. Finding a Service Electician in the Flathead Valley is almost impossible. We called at least 8 places and nobody could come out. Some said it would be a couple months. Ryan made time at the end of his workday to stop by on the way home to help us. He fixed our problem, and we were good to go in 30 minutes. I can't thank Ryan enough for going out of his way for us. The Valley needs more Service Electricians like this."

"Electrical Pluss LLC came to evaluate what was needed to fix the bathroom overhead heater and exhaust fan. Also the living room fan and light fixture. He scheduled and returned to fix both problems in a very timely manner. I appreciated his evaluation, questions and solutions."

Generator Install questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible for basic setups. Professional installation ensures safe and proper electrical connections.

It is safe to run a generator continuously, but you must follow safety protocols to ensure personal and home safety. Read the manufacturer’s instructions for specific recommendations, but the general recommendation is to turn generators off overnight or when you’re away from the house. Overworked generators can pose a fire hazard and if your generator is not in a well-ventilated area, running it continuously could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Yes, natural gas generators can work without electricity. Natural gas generators are a common type of backup or whole-house generator that operates when the electrical grid isn’t working. The trick is using a transfer switch (which usually needs to be installed with the generator) that safely switches the home electrical system from the power grid to generator power when needed.

Yes. You can connect your home back-up battery to a generator with its designated charger. Be sure that the output of the generator matches the input requirements for the battery for best results.

A home that is 2,500 square feet will likely need a 20kW to 25kW generator. Consult your local generator installer to confirm the generator size needed to power your home before purchasing a new one. Be sure to consider how much power your necessary devices need to run.
