"Our deck rebuild was the first of many projects that Bill has done for us, and we are still going. As other reviewers have said, it is beyond refreshing to work with Bill and Dallas Construction. We literally wasted years searching for someone that would actually show up and show some interest in what we were trying to do - then we met Bill. There isn't enough space here for me to list all of the positive aspects of working with Bill. What really strikes me is his work ethic and "can-do" approach to design. I know that homeowners can be a difficult and unclear on what it is that they actually want. With Bill, I have been able to bring all of our ideas to fruition and within budget - from the design and completion of a 950 sq./ft. wraparound composite deck, to a complete renovation of our great room that includes the addition of a corner fireplace, numerous windows and doors, as well as re-siding the exterior. All of Bill's work is beyond clean, it is artistic, and shows a level of craftmanship and expertise that you just don't see anymore. I have plenty of before and after pictures to back up my review, and would be happy to share them. This is not our first home remodel rodeo, so we've had plenty of bad experiences over the years with grifters, gougers, and Houdini's. Working with Bill has changed everything, and it gives me great comfort to have him as our contractor, friend, and neighbor."

Some understandable supply chain issues related to Covid, but the build team communicated with me throughout. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."
