We do asphalt driveway and parking lot seal coating. We do all the repairs, crack sealing and line striping ourselves. In 2005, I stared this company myself with a wore-out homemade tank, a blower and a squeegee and turned it into a formidable company capable of doing any seal coat job in the area. I am usually on site myself, which means that I'm not sending out a couple of unsupervised, barely trained flunkies to spread seal coat on your landscape rocks and buildings.

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Asphalt dries and cures best between 50 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. This range allows moisture to evaporate quickly without causing the asphalt to cool too fast, which can negatively affect the drying process. However, keep in mind that other weather conditions can also affect curing and drying times, such as precipitation and humidity.

Yes, using recycled asphalt millings is an eco-friendly alternative compared to concrete. Millings are reclaimed pieces of gravel that are recycled into aggregate that can be used on driveways, patios, walkways, basketball courts, tennis courts, and more.

Professionals restore the surface to a fresh, attractive finish by applying a new, even sealant layer.

With proper maintenance, asphalt milling driveways can last 30 years or more. Over time, you’ll need to regularly sealcoat your driveway. You should also have your driveway inspected every few years and make any repairs as soon as they are necessary; this will prolong the lifespan of your driveway.

The cost to pour a driveway apron depends on the material and size. Concrete costs $3 to $10 per square foot, asphalt ranges from $2 to $5, and pavers are $5 to $15 per square foot. Additional expenses, like excavation, base material, and labor, can increase the total cost. For example, a standard 12x15-foot concrete apron could cost between $540 and $1,800, depending on local rates and additional work required. Always consult a local driveway paving contractor to get an accurate estimate tailored to your project.
