If your property of place of business has experienced damage from mold, fire, water, or smoke, it's important to begin remediation quickly. This will greatly minimize the potential damage and related repair costs. At Dayspring Restoration, we provide professional disaster restoration and cleaning services for commercial & municipal clients throughout the Montana area. Our services include mold removal, emergency water removal, air duct cleaning, and dryer cleaning. Dayspring Restoration is a disaster restoration company operating across Montana. We offer 24-hour emergency service, as well as restoration services for homes that have been damaged by smoke, fire, soot, floods, water, wind, and vandalism. We also offer air duct cleaning and indoor humidity control. As a locally owned and operated company, our complete service area includes Bozeman, Great Falls, Missoula and Butte, Helena, Havre, Kalispell, Livingston, Belgrade, Hamilton and many surrounding areas.

"The initial call to Dayspring was answered by a real person!! Their tech showed up within five hours and I was very pleased. However; they quickly turned my pleasure to despair! Their supervision would commit to a date/time and subsequently the time would come and go with nobody showing up - I would have to be the one call contact them and even when I had a tough talk with them stating that I understood when plans change, but expected notification — it still didn’t get better. They lie and seem comfortable with that. This went on throughout the process and getting them on-site was like pulling teeth. They did not have adequate knowledge to preform the mitigation and the overriding driver for Dayspring was to keep equipment at the house to drive up their billing. All in all they are NOT good at what they do and are horrible at communication and transparency. I would never use them again, regardless of the circumstances."

We are a family owned business with a few awesome employees. We are a registered and insured contractor and all of our employees are covered by workers compensation insurance.

"I never leave negative reviews, and I consider myself to be a very understanding and flexible person in general. However, after my recent experience with Classic Hardwood Floors, I feel compelled to leave a review that will hopefully help others. My encounter with them started in February of 2021. I hired them to refinish all the wood floors in my home, including a set of hardwood stairs. A bit of background, I used Quickshine for years on my circular saw floors, for which I take full accountability, and it ruined my floors (word to the wise). The owner of Classic Harwood floors came out, to do a test, to confirm whether the process he intended to perform would be effective. He assured me that he could sand them a bit with a chemical without loosing the circular saw character we love. So we agreed to the quote, and enlisted them to do the job. I then hired movers to come and move all the furniture on our first floor which included a master bedroom, large living space, my home office and kitchen/dining area. When they came to do the job they retracted their initial quote, said they would NOT be able to do the job as quoted, and said that we would have to loose the circular saw appearance because they would have to sand them down and completly refinish them. On top of that, I was told it would cost thousands more and require more time. To make things worse, the stairs and landing could not be completed at that time. I am an interior designer, so I realize unexpected issues arise on projects, however I was surprised that the owner didn’t come to this conclusion when he performed the initial test. Because I had the furniture moved out of all of our livable space, I was in a bind and felt I had no choice but to have them complete the first floor. They told us they would not be able to complete the stairs until November….which they then pushed back to January….which they then pushed back to an unknown date….and another unknown date. Finally they called to say that they had NO IDEA when they could return because other jobs were taking longer. I was at my breaking point after waiting over 11 months (!!!) and became very frustrated and as a result I left an emotional voicemail. I regret this, and called to apologize to the office manager. But, then I received a text from her stating that they would no longer complete the job. The contract I signed with them clearly had no value, after thousands spent! It’s extremely disappointing to see a local family owned business not follow through. As I said, I realize projects have unexpected challenges, but the way this was handled was so unprofessional and my stairs are still NOT FINISHED. I hope this review spares someone else the frustration I faced. I have my own interior design business and was hoping to establish a working relationship with them, but sadly this will prevent any future business together."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

You should hire a flooring professional polish hardwood floors once per year. This annual schedule will help keep any surface scratches from getting more profound and restore a shine to your floor. However, if you have a high-trafficked home with excess dirt and debris, you might consider twice-yearly polishing to help it stay fresh. In between professional cleanings, stay on top of weekly floor cleanings and scratch-resolving to maintain the floor’s integrity.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

If you’re looking for commercial cleaners, just check the label to find options that say they are safe for vinyl. Otherwise, homemade cleaners work great for vinyl plank flooring. Baking soda paste works well for spot-cleaning, and vinegar mixed with water is best for all-over cleaning. You can even clean your floors with plain water, which is great for everyday maintenance.

Costs depend on floor type, area size, and additional services like waxing or sealing.

Suggesting regular dusting and spot cleaning to maintain freshness.
