Latex paint is water-based and has more flexibility when it dries so it won’t hold up as well to changes in temperature or exposure to wind, sun, or rain.

The first thing is to consider the main color of your home and determine which colors will complement it. You should place paint samples on your siding and look at them at different times of the day so you can see the way the sun (and shade) affect how they appear.
