"There was one bent gutter, which I actually had already told the wife the day before I would gladly pay for. The husband insisted all the gutters be replaced due to some very minor scratches. I again, agreed to pay for this as well. The Valleys were installed correctly. BY Manufacturers specs, a closed cut valley was installed. A woven valley is NOT the approved method of installation from the manufacturer, However, homeowner insisted they be woven. I had my guys remove them at my expense, and install them incorrectly to satisfy the homeowner. There was a little trash left in the yard and roof. And by a little i mean, a few plastic caps (quarter size) and a few rubber bands from the coil nails. In our defense, We did finish this roof on a Friday afternoon in a surprise thunderstorm. My main concern was protecting his house, not picking up rubberbands. Was coming back Monday to do a walk around and tidy up anything that was missed, but the husband Insisted it be done Saturday. I have been in business for over 25 years, put on thousands of roofs, This is the first unsatisfied customer I've ever had and haven't had one since. I know the quality of the roof, quality of my team and I know how the homeowners unrealistic attitude was and I can honestly say, The experience was worse for me than it was him, by far. I did everything that was expected of me, and more."
