"This company and its owner Jeremy were so professional!! He called me within minutes of me filling out my request online and came out the very next day to give me an estimate. He then came back later that exact SAME day and completed the job. He went above and beyond to take care of the trees I needed removed and even did an outstanding job with cleaning up extra debris and brush that he didnâ t have to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THUS COMPANY!! We will be calling him again in the future!!"

"Previously gave a 5 star going by pictures supplied. They never cleared piles of sawdust after tree stump grinding. Also disposed of logs and brush on a vacant lot instead of hauling away as they promised. This definitely was not acceptable. Had a roofer repair a hole in the roof where something punctured a hole in roof. Discussed with T&D, which they deny anything had fallen on the house. As being out of state, we did not see any of this until arriving in person after payment was made. The work they did was fantastic. Just sloppy on clean up and customer service. Too bad. We liked the couple personally, but I treat others the way I like to be treated."

Customers say: Quick response
"I looked around my front yard and discovered I needed some sort of update. I looked online and J&J popped up there. They came right away, gave me an estimate and told me when they would be back. J&J did a fabulous job of landscaping my front yard and I will look forward to using them on future lawn projects. Customer service is excellent."
Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
