He is always willing to get to the true root of the leak and spend time crawling the roof while I tap from the inside where the leak is coming from. He is always prompt and efficient. If his fix doesn't get the leak the first time he is willing to come out over and over again. He has always fixed the leak right the first time so have never had to have him come out again for the specific leaks he has fixed. He rocks! I can't say enough good things about him.

Fantastic. Mr Applegate returned my phone call in a timely manner, made sure he was calling at a good time and that it was a good time to come inspect the issue after finishing another job. Told me he would call before he headed my way and he called and was there within 10 minutes
Came with an employee and did the inspection and then repaired the slipped shingles. Talked my wife and I through the process. So many service providers are looking to upcharge (and on the roofing side sell a new roof) but he said the repairs would be more than adequate and would be how he would fix his own house. The work was done methodically and thoroughly.
I would recommend him for big work or small work and should any problems develop I wouldn't doubt his integrity to come and make it right.

Jerry came over either the same day I called or a day later, and brought one helper along with him.    He patched a number of nailholes left over from the original roof installation in one small area on the back of our 2-story house, and also patched some additional leaks in several spots on the front of the house.   He had me tap on the inside of the roof from the attic with a broom handle on the spots where I had observed leaking while he was up on the roof, so he could find the cause of the leaks.    He said to watch it during the next heavy rain and offered a free follow-up visit to fix any remaining leaks.    I'd say he fixed about 90% of the leaks on the first visit, and the rest on a follow-up visit a month or so later after another big rain.   I was very happy with the work Jerry did on the roof and will definitely use him again.

It was the day after Christmas and we expected more rain.  The hole in the roof was very worrisome.

Roofer showed up, took out his equipment, looked at the hole and replaced the shingles with nails and tar.

I called Wednesday and he was at my house Thursday morning. Very nice to deal with. Did just what I wanted. Said if I see a leak from these spots he'd come back out for free, well within a reasonable time frame.

We are selling our home and Mr. Applegate returned my call promptly and said he would go by and take look.  He did and gave me an estimate over the phone.  By the time I made it home from Texas, he was finished with the job.  Very good person for jobs like this and trustworthy.  I have used him before and would recommend in a heartbeat!!

It went wonderful.

A previous roof repair did not fix the problem, but Jerry Applegate solved the leaking problem and fixed some flashing in another area of the roof. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. I intend to use him for any future roofing needs.

Squirrels had chewed out the plastic under the roof ridge top and were living in our attic. Mr Applegate and a helper removed the ridge vent and replaced the roofing with perfectly matching shingles. This ended our squirrel problem. He was prompt, courteous and did an excellent job. I can highly recommend Applegate Roofing Co.

Mr. Applegate identified the problem quickly and set a repair date.  We are so pleased that the repair stopped the leak and is preventing further interior damage.  I would recommend his company and will use him in the future.

Mr. Applegate repaired the leak and explained to me the damage that was causing the leak. I found him to be very honest and knowledgeable about the work he was performing. He showed up to give me an estimate for the leak, but instead repaired my roof  in a matter of minutes. Being an ex-marine I always inspect what I expect and found is work to be of good quality. I had called another company on Angie's List and they called me back only to say they dialed the wrong number. I will leave a review for them as well. Still have not heard from them. 
I will definitely recommend him to friends and family.

This man and his son came to my house to look at a leak from my fireplace.  He told me exactly the problem and sealed it on the spot because it was about to rain that day.  Very good work. I had someone come out the previous day who was going to charge me $1000 to repair(that person is on Angie's List also).
I'm so thankful that his wife told him that I had called him that day.  God is good.  Thank you Mr. Applegate.

I called him to see if he could come out and look things over.. I was worried the damage was bad.. he came out and looked things over talked me through what I would needing and that things were not bad.. he had everthing he needed with him to take care of thngs

I signed up on Angie's list on the 1st of July, 2012, and immediately searched for roofing repair.  After reading reviews on several companies, I decided on Jerry for two reasons.  First, his reviews were excellent and the second reason is that his company was close to my home.  His office hours reflected that he took calls on Sunday so I called him and left a message.  He called back within minutes and said he would be at my home around 8 AM the next day to take care of the problems after addressing another earlier appointment.  At around 8 AM he called and said he would be there with 10-15 minutes and was true to his word.  He took care of my roof problems within 20 minutes, cleaned up the debris, and I sent him happily on his way to his next job paid in full.  I now must find a drywaller who can repair the damage to the ceiling in my bathroom from the stove pipe leak.  I believe Angie's List will be very helpful in locating the right person/company.  Thank you, Jerry and Angie's List!!!

Jerry came when he said he would and took care of repair.  Advised me to not paint interior ceiling until we were sure leak was repaired and it was.  I would use him again.
