"Our driveway was so bad that we were not able to use it at all. and the kicker was that it is up hill. Bauer Services came out and gave us a reasonable quote. You’ll first need to install a base underneath your pavers for extra stability and drainage. Otherwise, the pavers can sink into the ground, and you’ll have to reinstall them. After you install your gravel base, apply a 1-inch layer of sand on top.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Paving a driveway requires heavy machinery, and while you can rent the equipment needed, operating it close to your garage slab or around your home’s foundation can crack it and lead to structural issues.
