"Jakob is very kind, personable, friendly, courteous, and honorable. He looks out for the customer's benefit. He was willing to do an emergency repair for me that was very far away from him. He has accepted and fulfilled many of the repair requests I have sent his way. He's the type of character that makes you want to call him again!"

"I contracted with them to install laminate flooring and to renovate a bath. There were some unforseen problems with the bath renovation due to former contractor not installing a vapor barrier. They had to expend many more manhours than expected, but did an outstanding job. They are very anxious to please. I am pleased with the results. Also, you can have complete confidence in thier word."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

We recommend plywood and solid wood. Particleboard and MDF (medium-density fiberboard) are often too weak to hold significant loads, and could sag or deform under pressure. Plywood or solid wood are meant to last, and can handle the weight of several large items. If you want to spend a little more for a moisture-resistant material, you can consider using steel.

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation. However, doing so can increase noise reduction, make the space more attractive, and keep children and pets from touching harmful fiberglass insulation. If you’re using cellulose or some other type of blown-in insulation (fiberglass and mineral wool are common), you will need drywall to contain the insulation material.

Installing weather stripping or upgrading to insulated panels can improve efficiency.

We recommend hiring a garage door professional to install a garage door opener for you. Garage door openers aren’t terribly complex, but setting them up properly, setting the lift and drop speed, and installing sensors that work correctly can take a few hours for a DIYer. The cost to install a garage door opener is around $400, and it will save you a lot of time and frustration. Garage professionals have the skills and equipment necessary to work with potentially dangerous garage door components, like springs.

Most heat in a garage is lost through air leaks in windows, doors, and walls. This is especially true if the walls are uninsulated, which is common in garages. Consider insulating your garage before installing a garage heater to ensure the heat it generates isn’t wasted, making it less efficient.
