"I wanted to choose zero stars for a rating about BORDNER ROOFING OF RAYTOWN, MO. Our roof was leaking so bad we had a kidde pool in the livibg room catching rain water. I gave them a huge deposit. When it started getting too cold to roof I went to their office after they kept my huge deposit for 3 months. I told them to give me my money back & they refused. I said it will be too cold to roof it properly. They promised the shingles would lay/seal down when the sun comes out & warms them up. 3 months later in the spring the shingles didn't seal down !!! They also nailed the shingles too high !!! I met with them again a few months ago in their office & they kept saying, "We stand behind our work" THEY ARE SUCH LIARS !!! They came out a few times & put silicone or tar under some shingles that buckled up or folded back. That didn't help. 5 sections of the roof are having the same problem. This isn't acceptable !!! I had 5 companies inspect the roof & they all said it was very bad workmanship, it was too cold & the shingles were nailed too high !!! I contacted the BBB & Bordner lied to them & BBB closed the case. I have photos, documents & video to prove my case !!! They damaged my home, my gutters, my lawn, some plants, they took 21 days to do the roof...other roofers said it shouldn't have taken more than a week. ☆☆☆☆DON'T HIRE BORDNER☆☆☆☆"

"I could not have asked for a better representative or a better company to replace my roof after hail damage. The whole process was completely handled and explained thoroughly to me along the way. This company clearly lives up to their claims about caring and providing service according to their Christian values. Cliff Howard was accessible at all times, gave timely updates before I needed to ask, and absolutely cares about his customers and their satisfaction. He is very personable and professional. I don't have room to gush about how satisfied and happy I am overall with Christian Brothers Roofing. I would never hesitate to use them again, and happily recommend them whenever I can."

"Angel is AN ANGEL!!! He came by to measure, call the power company to schedule the power shut off and tell me about the process. He arrived early and finished quicker than expected. I would use him for all of my electrical needs if he lived closer to my area of the metro. I am normally out of his service area but because my friend is a good customer of his, he agreed to help me out. He fixed the meter box, charged me a reasonable amount and is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and trustworthy."

"Don't trust Century Roofing because they don't stand by their work, and they are not trustworthy. I've had Century Roofing replace my roof 6/2019. They gave me a quote to replace my roof and included in the contract was to replace a "RUSTED HVAC FURNACE FLASHING". I thought they would do a great job, so I paid them to replace the roof and all the pipes and flashing on the roof. I trusted them that this was done as per the contract. I didn't ask for pictures of all the pipes and work on top of the roof. In May of 2020, there was a big storm and we noticed that this HVAC heating stack had the top blown open. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the RUSTED FURNACE FLASHING and cap was NEVER replaced as listed on the contract. When I contacted them to replace it, they told me I had to have a HVAC specialist come out and replace the pipe, and they would not fix this RUSTED HVAC Flashing. They told me they would never replace anything that had to do with HVAC even though it was on the contract and clearly all heating stack flashing is replaced when a new roof is installed. I've never heard of any HVAC person going on the roof to replace anything. Century Roofing does not do what is listed on their contract and they do not stand by their work. Please be very careful when dealing with Century Roofing. I would not use them again and would not recommend them in the future."

"This review is in the long time making you know what said, if you want it bad enough you'll wait. If there was a 10 star rating for roofers Top Shelf Roofing would get it! They are that good Shawn at Top Shelf I've been dealing with me for almost two years he'd seen me at my best and my worst and he patiently waited. He did such a good job on my roof and explain it to me in such a way he has a teacher's heart, I know how to deal with the insurance companies now, I know how to deal with roofers now I know what and who to look for now for just about every project! I allowed him to take over the rest of the project on the rehab of a house I was doing.... And I am certain that it would not have been a success had I not chose top shelf at least not a big success! He showed me how to keep projects in budget he showed me or product wasn't needed and where it was needed he showed me the codes for my Town! He was completely transparent you asked him a question and he told you exactly why he was doing what he was doing he didn't do it until I talk to you. Very professional. And the quality of the roof could never been matched had I gone another way! I cannot say enough in this review about the success that he created! an amazing person, he definitely deserves all the credit. if you ever choose to start a business wrap it in the ethics the Top Thelf is wrapped in."
