He arrived on time on the day of the job and observed proper coronavirus precautions and wore a mask while in my home. The new TV was a difficult install that the Geek Squad couldn't handle. Mike was able to construct a new mount out of sight within the cabinet which would allow the screen to fit flush with the frame and yet easy to manipulate so the cables could be accessed. When completed, everything looked neat and professional."

Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT more unique that brings more tears of joy to a loved one's eyes like one of these. Nothing. I've seen it time and time again. I make it affordable to anyone who's ever wanted one of these. Paintings with half the detail of these can cost upwards of $30,000 limiting something like this from hanging in living rooms for families to the rich only. Not anymore. Here's how it works.. Simply email me your favorite picture or pictures to [email protected] with a brief description of what you would like done. The bigger and clearer the picture the better the drawing. I will start an initial sketch right away and take pictures of it and show it to you. Please email them quickly if possible, because the holidays are coming and I get busy. Once the initial sketch is done. I usually take something down on it. It's a lot of work doing the initial sketch. This varies on the cost of the drawing which we will discuss right away. Drawings are usually 175 for 9x12's 225 for 11x14's 275 for 14x17's After this process is done I continue with your art piece sending you photos on line all the way through which many people find a lot of fun. I am also friends on Facebook with almost every person I've ever drawn for as well and would like to be your friend as well if you would like that. I post them on FB at your discretion. It makes me way more legit to people as well. The Prices vary with the art because of the size of the drawing as well as the number of faces. The number of faces DOES NOT double the cost. "DO NOT USE. Very shady. They will try to take advantage of you. In my case, they gave me a bid and cost for 2 movers. They sent 3 (I was never asked nor given a quote what that would cost). While the move went faster, they tried to bill me for 3 movers. When I called them on it, they adjusted back to the 2 but then acted like they were doing me a favor for charging them what they quoted in the first place. They also took advantage of me by the movers having me initial their start/end times on a blank form that they filled in the times later. I have documented evidence that they did not start until 8:30am and also have my copy of the blank form but the movers marked their start time as 8am effectively charging me for a half hour I didn't use. If you do have to use them, keep a close eye on what they do as they will try to take advantage of you then act like they're doing you a favor. Barb, their employee, is really terrible at customer service as well. The movers were careful and nice. But it fell apart with the front office. They will claim they "were more than fair" by reimbursing you some but you will not come out ahead. They will find a way to take your money inappropriately."

Mueller Furniture has been a stalwart in Belleville since John "honest John" Mueller founded the store in 1927. John was the kind of businessman the people needed back then. During the depression era he would always tell people "dont worry, pay me what you can. When its payed off its payed off, but dont go and buy junk!" His son Les remembers going to collect for John, he'd get 5$, 10$, sometimes they'd say "sorry we dont have anything this week." People were struggling to make ends meet and they appreciated his kindness and repayed him with their loyalty. This is the kind of personal service is what we strive to preserve in the era of big barn stores that offer either no help at all or way too pushy sales people. After John died in 1952, His oldest son Roland and his son Les ran the business. Roland passed away in 1960 at the age of 50 leaving Les and his wife Peggy to keep the store going. Les retired in 1976 and his youngest son and current owner Lynwood Mueller began buying the business. Shortly thereafter the store caught on fire leaving the second floor beyond repair and much of the merchandise damaged. Lynwood picked up the pieces and began rehabbing the store. In recent years, the store has been revitalised by our updated styling, experienced staff, additional floorspace and indoor and outdoor remodeling. Mueller's is seeing its best years in history and with the expansion of belleville southward, a revitilized Main Street and the growing surrounding Illinois communities we are optimistic about our future. Come and see what all the new buzz is about!
