"Since the work was done, installed sump pumps with battery backup, installed tube drain around inside perimeter of crawl space, etc, it has rained heavily for a week. The new system is working great with no flooding of crawl space, thus saving the furnace that is in crawl space. I highly recommend this company. The 3 men that did the work were courteous, worked hard and kept me informed of their progress. Great company!"

"They were prompt and did a good job. They cleaned the area very well before they left. They were a pleasure to work with and took pains to bring the project in to meet my desires. I would hire them again."

"We signed contract on 4/15/2013 and were told by salesman that jobs were approximately 4 to 6 weeks out.  The night we signed the contract, ask for a floor sample to be sent to me so I could pick out counter top and paint.  The salesman also said that this product would never mold or mildew, especially the joints, because their product was formulated for heavy moisture areas. (Later found out that is NOT true, from another customer.  Salesman also stated that we wouldn't probably hear anything for a couple of weeks, then we would get a phone call to set everything up.
By May 15, I had repeated tried to contact salesman, via phone and email as to why no one had contacted me to set up install and why flooring sample was not sent.  Salesman never returned any phone calls and then only via email did I receive any response.  Each time with an excuse as to why nothing was happening.  FINALLY received flooring sample (a index card size on June 3rd), followed by a phone call on June 5th, from someone at the Rebath office asking if they could come do the tear out on June 7th, with drywall repair on the 8th and install on the 10th and 11th.  I stated it was a little short notice and was told if I didn't take that date then it would possible be another 3 to 4 weeks out.  So wanting to get the bath done--since they had half of my money (3,600.00), I along with my husband agreed.
When I arrived home on the 7th, from work, which was around 2:30.  It was a fairly hot day---the front door to my home was standing open.  No one was going in or out and the tear out guy was in bathroom, with very little work done.  Because of the soffit work--we ask him to save the insulation so it could be placed back into attic, he did so.  Tear out man was in home till late in the evening--not something you want to happen due to most people have to work the next day.  He kept leaving front door open, all the while the air conditioner was running to keep up!  It was our understanding that all the old dry wall would be tore out, but that gentleman said that because it was not spelled out on contract that he couldn't do it and if we wanted him too, that would be a work change order, which would cost us more.  (ONCE AGAIN--was told something different from salesman, and this was not our first construction project!).  He also left a mess on the floor from the removal of the old tile--my husband had to get the shop vac out to get up the debrie!
The drywaller's arrived on the 8th--there was texture on the old drywall.  We asked installers if they were going to match the new drywall with the old by putting on texture, since all tear out was not done.  They said no, but could do it for a $100 more money.  We didn't agree to it because I refused to be nickeled and dimed!  They finished their work quickly, putting on the first coat of mud over taping and stated they would be back on Tuesday (Jun 11th) to sand and put second skim coat on joints.
Installer showed up on Monday, June 10th on time.  YEA!  He was friendly, respectfully of our house and very efficient!  However the tub that my husband and I ordered and thought we would receive--was the wrong size.  A new one was brought out at Rebath's expense.  (Later found out the salesman had wrote down the wrong size!)  The installer was there late into the night on Monday and cleaned up very well when his part was finished.
The drywaller's didn't arrive the next day.  I call Rebath by 4:00pm to find out what happened and they were surprised that they didn't show up and I was asked why I didn't call before 4:00 to see where they were!  How is that suppose to be on the customer.  After a couple of more phone calls between myself and the very nice lady that answers the phone at Rebath, it was arranged that they would come out later that week.
My husband also had to make repeated phone calls to have Rebath to come back out and finish the job.  Because they promise by them was to put your bathroom back and in better shape!.  By Friday of that week--Rebath sent a gentleman out to finish the job--put the door back onto the bathroom and cut it down to fit since the new floor made the toekick stick up too much and the door wouldn't shut.  They also needed to put the baseboards back onto the wall and connect the plumbing up at the sink.
A two day turn around that is promised by Rebath in their advertisements, turned out to be a week long job--only to be finished and done right after much inspection and phone calls!!!!!!
After a total of 7,200.00 spent, I can only hope their product holds up like they promised!  Leary due to the fact that their promises haven't meant nothing yet!

"Someone came out the day before to see where the furnace was going to be installed. He suggested we go with a slightly larger unit for the size of our house, but we opted to go with the unit that was included in the deal.
Two men came out and installed the A/C and furnace. They told us they would be done with everything in about 4 hours, and kept pretty close to that. The furnace and A/C are both working perfectly so far.
We were mostly very happy with the company and the men who installed our units. There were only a couple minor annoyances. Our old furnace was incredibly rusty inside, and when they removed it from the house, they left a trail of rust and dirt from the basement to the front yard (including through our living room). They did not offer to clean it up, but left it for us to deal with. They also broke a light bulb in the basement and didn't get all the pieces cleaned up.

"Not only did he complete the work on my hot water heater he was back the very next day to do my sewer line. Everything was very fairly priced and he went out of way to take care of me. I couldnâ t find one single person in my town to do the work and when I could they would charge me a ridiculous rate! Clay is the man ! Hire him and you wonâ t regret it."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

French drains may fail when they become clogged with soil granules that slip through the pores of the landscaping fabric and through the holes in the pipe.

Over time, this debris can build up inside the pipe and prevent water flow. To prevent this failure from happening, regularly flush out your French drain and keep debris away from the inlet grate.

Preventing water accumulation involves regular inspections, maintaining effective drainage systems, ensuring proper roof maintenance, and taking preventive measures against heavy rainfall or floods.

It can take anywhere from half an hour to a few hours to fix a main line clog, depending on the cause and severity of it. The job should not take more than a day to complete. Keep in mind that the main line is not the same as your home’s sewer lines (which connect to the main line and run to your house). Your city is responsible for any clogs or damage to the main line itself.

The best way to unclog a bathtub drain is to pour a pot of boiled water down the drain, being careful not to splash yourself. However, take precautions, as boiling water can damage PVC pipes and joints. Follow up with ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of vinegar. Cover the drain with a small sink plunger and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pour boiling water down the drain again and replace the drain stopper.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.
