"Wanted to fix the problem caused by large Pine and Magnolia Tree leaves continually clogging gutters causing periodic water damage. Decided to install good quality Gutter Guards and fix the current water damage.
Al kept me informed at least a day in advance of his schedule and arrived when promised which I appreciated.
Below are some of the task I watch Al and his brother do and was very happy with the quality I saw.
Gutter Guards
Pressure washer cleaned gutter, downspouts, and surrounding area.
Removed gutters and installed metal protection on fascia board where needed
Adjusted gutter angle to make sure water drained correctly on all sides
Installed and screwed in Guards on all the Gutters to keep in place
Added Metal End caps to prevent squirrels and bird access to gutters.
Corrected a Gutter Problem that caused leaves and debris to collect and build up at one section of the roof allowing water to
flow over sides.
  Back Exterior Jalousie Door Replace
Bought Solid Core Door and cut to exact size of
old door
Cut out center for the Jalousie windows from the
old door
Primed (Weather Proofed) door on all external
surfaces
Installed the Jalousie Windows from old door
Set Door in place and adjusted for perfect fit
Installed new Aluminum Door Sweep and adjusted
for fit.
Installed and tested new electronic lock
60x56 Jalousie Window Frame Repair
Removed Rotting wood at base and along sides
Installed new wood along sides and Vinyl Composite
Simulated Lumber at the base for water resistance.
Caulked all access points around the frame.
Install New Storm window
Removed old storm Window frame from Kitchen
Window
Installed new Storm Window
Other
Cleaned area and left it looking better than
when they arrived
Sent Pictures of how the Gutter install looked
like from above the roof.
Alerted to other problems (Chimney, Tuck
pointing) I did not know about.
Today is 1-July-2014 and three storms have come through since installation and I have seen none of the problems I had before the guards were installed. Normally I would be cleaning out the clogged down spouts!!

I was very happy with the results and consider the money well spent.

"I hired Tabby's, from a Craigslist ad, to do an apartment move in cleaning. The ladies were very nice but I was not satisfied with the cleaning. If I had not directed the cleaner to thoroughly scrub the inside of the refrigerator to remove a stain, I do not believe she would have done it, as she told me that "it would not come out" until I asked her to use a different method.
Baseboards were not cleaned.
Floors were not mopped, neither the bathroom or kitchen.  The kitchen floors were still sticky!  I was having a carpet cleaning done simultaneously, but they could have bothered to at least mop the bathroom floor.
Cobwebs were not knocked down.
Light fixtures/on-off switches do not seem to have been cleaned.
Bedroom furniture was still dusty.
I paid for one hour and told them when they were here, that if the job required more time to just tell me. I had money to spend because I wanted a thorough cleaning.
I called to state that I was not happy. They did come out again and spot cleaned baseboards and knocked down some cobwebs, only at my direction of the cobwebs that were not knocked down. They did call again but I just did not want to deal with them coming out again. I am shopping around now for a better much more thorough cleaning company (that I am willing to pay for). I hate to give negative comments, but I feel like I must warn. I hope others have better experiences with them.  I tipped well out of courtesy but it was not worth it.

"Tyrone was great. My house needed a good deep clean before the holidays and I got his card from a friend. I like doing the cleaning myself but I have a hand injury which is why I looked for outside help. His crew was very detailed oriented and cleaned everything better than I could have with both hands. I will definitely be using his company again."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

If push comes to shove, and you need to manually open your garage door, then you should be able to do so. To manually open your garage door, first, make sure that the door is in the down position. You’ll need to unlock your garage door opener’s emergency release mechanism, which is typically a red robe that you can find on the carriage. Once you’ve pulled the cord, you can manually lower the door.

If your garage door is stuck in an open position, consider contacting a professional to safely release the opener.

It is typically cheaper to build a garage than to buy a prefab one if you can provide most of the labor yourself. If you plan to hire a contractor for the entire build, a prefab garage or kit will likely be less expensive. However, even with a garage kit, you may still need to hire professionals to install the foundation, concrete floor, and handle electrical and plumbing work. If you are not an experienced builder, it can be a worthwhile investment to hire a local garage builder who can manage all aspects of the project, including coordinating other necessary professionals.

New garage doors are often worth the investment because they improve the appearance of your home, make it more secure, and add to your property value. Installing a new garage door costs $1,200 on average, but you’ll have greater peace of mind that your garage door will function properly and keep your home safe. If you sell your home shortly after replacing your garage door, you’re expected to see close to a 100% return on investment, which is significantly higher than most home improvement projects and almost instantly makes the project worthwhile.

While you can technically use WD-40 to lube a garage door, it is not the best option since the oil it leaves behind can attract dirt. Instead, go to the hardware store and locate a lithium- or silicone- based garage grease. You can also search for garage door lubricant online; just make sure you get one that is made with lithium or silicone.

Garage door sensors should be installed on each side of the door, typically six inches off of the ground. The sensors communicate through an infrared beam, so they need to face each other directly for the system to work properly. Make sure they’re level and aligned, and keep the area around them clear. If they’re too high or out of alignment, your garage door won’t function properly.
