"Matt arrived on time and was efficient at replacing floor tiles. Do you think customer service is gone, well so did we until Matt Hemingway came to replace three broken tiles. He finished in 90 minutes and that included going back to hardware store for a different color grout because he didn't like the way it looked. When done you could not tell the floor had been fixed. Excellent job. Highly recommend."

"From the first contact Bill was nothing but professional! I had an erosion issue on my parking lot where 100+ School buses are housed. To say the least getting the work performed along with moving the buses seemed as if it would be a cluster... It was not. Bill had a great plan in place prior to the work beginning and an incredible crew working for him. He was hands on all the way and never balked at any request throughout the entire job. His favorite words are "Yes Sir". He came in right on budget and worked me into his schedule on a very timely manor. The work his team performs is top notch, not to mention they are incredibly polite. I couldn't recommend them more highly!"

"We had decided to drop anchor here in the midwest and wanted an entire re-do of our 1991 Whittaker Ranch. Interviewed two companies. Dana King-Next Project came out on top with design and enthusiasm. She had an ‘aging in place’ concept that sold us. Complete re-do; kitchen, bathrooms. Made access easier to beautifully designed tile showers with seating, got rid of old pop corn ceiling. Nice neutral painting throughout, redesigned stairway to finished lower level. I can go on and on....excellent daily cleanup, everyday, and most important, communication via her App Basecamp that detailed what was done what was next, etc.... can’t recommend more highly. If you value your home and want a ‘showcase’ and QUALITY work, this is the place to go to...."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.

It’s usually possible to install a playground yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Playground construction can be complicated and involves moving large, heavy, and bulky components into place while you affix them to other pieces. Not only is the work physically demanding, but any mistakes could reduce the lifespan of your playground and potentially put any children who use the equipment at risk of injury. It’s relatively inexpensive to hire a professional playground installer, and it’s usually worth the investment, if only for the peace of mind it provides.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Material markup costs and labor expenses are the additional primary costs of hiring a playground installer over building your own set. Labor costs are typically less costly than some more specialized home improvement projects. DIY swing set construction is less expensive than professional installation but will take considerably more time and effort to perform.

If you decide an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop is best for you, you should consult a basketball hoop installer. They will have the necessary tools and experience to install these correctly and safely. If you were to try to install these yourself, there is a risk of injury or improper installation, which could lead to damage to the hoop or your yard.
