I learned building trades from my father as a child and worked with him in construction for 8 years building houses from the ground up including plumbing, wiring, concrete, cabinetry, etc. from framing to finish. We received detailed recommendations for lighting, accessories, fabric types, window treatments, lots of good details in the recommendations. The actual remodel changed the room, but most of the recommendations still apply. I'm not sure about the prices of the items they recommend, but it does give you practical ideas for furniture you may already have or how to shop in a retail store, etc. "
