"Showed up on time and provided detailed, thorough inspection with a punchlist of items that were checked and verbally went over his findings. Inspector promised a detailed report with photos and some bids for various work that was needed to be emailed to me and left. I waited two weeks for the report and finally called the office manager who promised to get with the inspector and see what was holding up the report. Not getting a response I called the office after a few days and my call went to voicemail whereupon I left a message. I mentioned this situation to my real estate agent who had recommended this company to me. She said she would follow up and forwarded me a copy of the detailed report the next day via email. The copy had the wrong email address for me even though I gave the inspector a written copy of my correct address on his copy of the checklist on the day of the inspection."

"All I can say about this service is that their technicians shocked me with their knowledge base, efficiency, and thoughtfulness in execution. I've never worked with a better contractor. Also, they came on the day we booked. That is stunning."

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

While it is possible to remove snow from your roof without a professional, we don’t recommend it. Accessing your roof can be a dangerous task; pair that with slippery ice and snow that can be heavy to move, and you have a very risky problem on your hands. This dangerous situation becomes more high-risk when there’s a snowstorm or your roof has a steep pitch. To ensure that everyone stays safe, be sure to call a roof snow removal specialist to complete this job with the proper tools and equipment.

Most housekeepers won’t handle tasks that require specialized equipment or training, like carpet shampooing, window washing at high levels, or outdoor cleaning. Housekeepers typically dust, vacuum, mop, wash dishes, clean surfaces, and launder linens. It’s best to clarify what services are included before hiring to make sure you’re on the same page.

If you’re asking yourself, should you pressure wash your roof, the answer almost always is no. The water pressure that the power washing machine generates could damage the shingles by forcing water underneath or causing them to loosen. Soft washing with a pump sprayer is the better and safer option.

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

While it’s not completely necessary for them to operate properly, as the occasional rainfall can rinse away dirt and debris, manually cleaning solar panels from time to time can keep them operating more efficiently.

Dirt, debris, pollen, and bird droppings can collect on the surface of the panels. Depending on the amount of solar panels you have, this can add up over time, so set a regular maintenance schedule. Moreover, if you live in a climate with little to no rainfall, more debris can accumulate, causing inefficiencies that would be clear in your electricity bill.
