"Met with Scott at our home to have him look at our lawn for leaf clean-up and mowing this year. Scott was very personal and professional asking great questions which centered on making sure he understood our needs. He provided an on the spot quote which was very reasonable. Scott worked with me on my request that the leaves were dry before he came back to mow, trim and also blow off our extra large circle driveway. He did an excellent job on the front lawn! Scott asked me review his work to make sure I was satisfied before I paid. Nice to find someone who is very willing to satisfy the customer! Because of this, I'm having Scott mow for me this year. Also, I want Scott to clean up our seldom used, wild side and back yard which has a couple of years of leaves accumulated. I am very pleased and highly recommend Scott for your lawn needs. Great guy and fine work."

"It was great. I had the deck, back porch, front walk way and the sides of my home pressure washed. The job was done timely and did a magnificent job. I would recommend and have recommended to everyone I know. So far all of my referrals were more than happy with the job they completed."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.

Some companies offer hazardous waste removal, but additional fees and special handling procedures may be required.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.
