Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

Asked all of them for 3 referrals, copies of their contracts and a visit to our home to assess. Bridget from New Beginnings stood out from the start. She was responsive, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and her references had nothing but good things to say. Experienced and Capable - Their experience in the estate sale industry was apparent. Bridget and her team started organizing, staging and pricing a few days before the sale. They were respectful of our space and time. They worked around the packers and movers. And they put out no parking signs in front of all our neighbors houses. They transformed our house into a home store in just a couple of days. Great Advertising - The advertising New Beginnings did paid off. They also have a large following. The morning of the first day was amazing. We had people lining up at 6:00 am for an 8:00 am start! The response and showing was incredible. We left the house and let Bridget and her team take care of everything. No Damage - One of my biggest worries was the potential for damage when large furniture pieces were moved out. She assured me everything would be ok. On the off chance that something happened, they would fix it. Nothing was damaged. The History of The Blue Diamond: Mrs. Mary Kay Kempker, entered the Jewelry business in 1980, apprenticing under several talented jewelers. she completed the GIA Diamond Course and in 1990 opened a trade and retail business, in which she operated out of her own home... then 3 years later, she opened a retail store, named"The blue Diamond" :) Her husband, Gary joined her in the store in 1994 to handle the financial operations. In July of 1998, Mary and Gary purchased a free standing building in a higher traffic area in Jefferson City, on the Missouri Blvd. (which is were they are located today) They specialize in custom designs with GemVision and handle a complete line of fine jewelry. Mary Kay has won many awards in MJWA's jewelry design contests.
