"Initially contacted them but canceled. Second time, no hard feelings. Jason was there promptly, assessed my needs (very difficult to know what problems he would find), gave me a bid, and started within a week. It soon became obvious my problem was greater than he originally thought. He apologized and quickly provided a new estimate. While quite a bit higher, still not sure if he should have bid more. In the course of the project, several unintended mistakes were made by his crew. He apologized, but never ducked responsibility. Despite uncooperative weather, he worked to complete the project as quickly and efficiently as possible, making sure that all problems were addressed despite the high cost in some cases to correct them. I recognized some of the unexpected higher costs and suggested we order a dumpster and split the cost. He was appreciative and was even more determined to make make a satisfied customer.......which I am. He s in a difficult business, tough to estimate hidden problems. But he accepts it, is up front with the customer, and seeks to make them completely satisfied. Jason Carr is a class act. I d recommend his company to anyone!!!"

"The installers were courteous and professional. The only problem is one of the windows was delivered defective. The company quickly promised to repair it but so far has not even scheduled a repair. I don't mind if its weeks/months out, but I do want to be on the schedule. Otherwise it seems like once they had our money, they stopped caring."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Choosing between traditional and synthetic stucco depends on your specific needs, budget, and climate. Both options are durable, but synthetic stucco includes an extra layer that makes it more resistant to cracking and a better choice for climates with extreme weather. In hot, dry climates with less rainfall, traditional stucco is a suitable and more affordable option that is less likely to trap moisture. Synthetic stucco also offers more color options and requires less maintenance.

The curing time for stucco typically takes several weeks to fully complete. During the curing process, the stucco undergoes a chemical reaction and gradually hardens. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco.

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.

Yes, using natural additives and methods that lower impact.

Repaired stucco requires regular inspections, cleaning to prevent mold or mildew build-up, and timely minor repairs to address hairline cracks. Applying protective sealants can also enhance longevity and maintain its appearance.

If your windows are losing efficiency from wearing out or experiencing leaks on rainy days, it may be time to consider replacing them. Window replacement costs run between $180 and $410 per window but may be on the higher end for homes with stucco siding since stucco will likely require more time and special tools for replacement.
