They also trimmed a severely overgrown line of hedges and completely cleared out a patch of yard full of poison ivy. It was an extremely hot day, and they worked almost completely non-stop and when the job was complete there was no mess left. They cleaned up everything and hauled it away. Perfect job and very pleasant people to work with. Would absolutely use their services again anytime."

"Our First Clean was wonderful! We were so very impressed! Then we were assigned another family member to clean our home along with another person. Things were ok for several months, not stellar like our initial clean. Things left undone or lightly cleaned. And we were in contact with them to let them know when things fell short. We have extensive hardwood and from the beginning gave very specific instructions to how the floors were to be managed. Unfortunately-- a vacuum, with likely a beater bar was used on the wood, ruining about 500 square foot of flooring with hundreds of scratches. The cleaner didn't even realize this was occurring and went about her way cleaning the whole area and damaging the floor of a very large room. To top it off, to our mistake of allowing the company to continue, they scratched more flooring in another room about a month later. Ugg, we were speechless... In order to complete the repair had to have a mover come, a flooring company come, and then a mover again in order to get the room set back up. While Golden Rule did pay for the repair, they weren't caring enough to prevent it a second time. We were out of use of our bedroom for several weeks while getting this all corrected. The frustration and inconvenience of this incident was huge. We would recommend staying clear of this company at all costs. While it may seem they are local to St. Louis, apparently they are based out of Springfield IL having perhaps one local person. The phones are a bit strange as you aren't sure who you are calling or being forwarded to. And there seems to be some confusion over who handles which calls. Overall, a regret. Had we been assigned the first person, we would have likely been in good hands. -- Again we recommend AVOIDING this company."
