"Jeremiah, Mark, and Goody stablized my basement and waterproofed for me. They did excellent work. They did a job I thought was I thought was impossible. walls are stable and safe. They were fun, very respectful of my space, they played good music and sang while they worked. I highly recommend them for any foundation work you need."

"Was a wonderful experience, and all my questions and observation of the installing wasn't a problem. I had concerns about my down spout being trampled on since it ran along side my trash can placement. Chris installed a hinge so I could lift the piece up and out of the way with ease. He also help me find the right color choice to blend in with my new siding and roof color. I was set on having gutter protection in place. Chris was kind enough to go over all my choices and explain his experience in what has been the best choice to prevent clogging and acorn packing. I haven't had a single problem with my gutters or the screen protection. I highly recommend this company."

"He was very quick to respond to my calls, and once we decided we'd like him to come out to our house for an estimate he was out to our house the next morning (he conveniently had another client meeting in the area). He seemed knowledgeable and provided insight into what finishing my basement would entail. One particularly important thing he noticed is that the ceiling height in some areas of the basement were a couple inches shy of being "up to code." I was glad he was looking out for potential issues already - it shows his ability to plan ahead and account for possible road blocks.  Aside from that, his prices seemed very reasonable! If, or rather  when, I begin doing my basement remodel (which will now likely not be until next summer) I will definitely be keeping Vitaly in mind for the job.

"We were mostly pleased with his work but were more than a little annoyed that he went down to
the basement just to plaster his ad sticker over the furnace info stickers. I understand wanting
to leave your number for future reference  but not at the cost of blocking other numbers and info that we
might need.

"We started in the spring. Greg came out to assess my falling apart garage. He tore down the old garage and replaced it. As it is an attached garage, it was quite a process. Everything went very well. There were some delays due to weather, but that is understandable. Overall, I am thrilled with my new garage and so happy that Greg was also able to redo the sidewalk and steps to my front door. The work is holding up beautifully and Greg and his crews were great to work with."

"I called to set the appointment.  they gave me a three hour time window.  the gentlemen showed up towards the beginning of the time frame.  they were very courteous.  They explained what they were going to do, how the equipment worked, and about how long it would take.  They cleaned my vents in a reasonable time.  They also vacuumed up all the spider webs around my furnace while they were down there (I have a stone basement so it is a never ending battle).  The next time I need my vents cleaned I will absolutely call them.   I have recommended them to everyone I know."

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

A vapor barrier can last over 20 years, but they are vulnerable to pests, flooding, and other natural disasters. If your home weathers a storm or is treated for any pest infestation, make sure to have a drywall pro come check the integrity of your vapor barrier. It’s also important to have a pro install a vapor barrier since improper installation can lead to tears or leaks in the barrier that shorten its lifespan.

Yes, it is generally unhealthy and can be dangerous to live in a damp basement. The damp air can negatively affect your breathing and lungs, and the moisture promotes mold growth and pest infestations. Inhaling mold spores or waste particles from insects and rodents attracted to the moisture can be hazardous. This damp, moldy air can also circulate into your main living area. It is crucial to resolve any moisture problems and implement preventative measures before using your basement as a living space.

Yes, crawl spaces can attract bugs, especially since moisture tends to build up in the space, and moisture attracts pests. A good way to prevent pest infestation in your crawl space is to install a vapor barrier—called crawl space encapsulation—on the interior to seal the space, along with a French drain or some other kind of foundation drainage system outside to keep runoff out of your crawl space. You can also seal foundation cracks and repair damages to cut off access to pests.

The most flood-resistant materials you can count on in a flood scenario are concrete, closed-cell insulation, foam insulation (also known as expandable foam), pressure-treated wood, marine-grade plywood, and ceramic tile. When a material is flood-resistant, it can withstand direct contact with floodwater for at least 72 hours without being significantly damaged.

If your basement often leaks after heavy rain, it’s probably caused by hydrostatic pressure. When the ground is saturated with water, it can put pressure on the exterior of your home’s foundation, causing cracks in the basement wall and pushing water through any existing weak spots. Over time, hydrostatic pressure can cause structural damage to your home.
