"Almost everything went really well. The job was done very professionally. The time given to me when I scheduled the appointment was the time the guy showed up. I liked that he gave me a recommendation (and a price) to clean out my floor drain, but by no means a pressure up sale. I received the service I paid for and I was happy. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the fact that on their website they say they are open 24 hours. I had a little backup in my basement, so by no means an emergency, but it did stink up my house. I bought the deal on Angie's List at night and tried calling at 8, 8:30, 9, and 9:15 the next morning to schedule an appointment. Each time I called I was routed to the voicemail box, but when I got to the end of their message, it would tell me their voicemail box was full. I did get a call a short time later from them to setup the appointment, but it was a little annoying that I couldn't at least leave a message."

"Great. They were able to disconnect our gas appliances at two separate homes and then come back the following day to reconnect them after a move and they were nice enough to charge it as one continuous service call rather than two like most other plumbers I called charge.  They were friendly and knowledgable."

"Fantastic service, Greydon showed up on time and was very professional. On top of being professional he was very personable and easy going. Greydon took the time to explain things in depth and even show me the sewer pipe. Being a new home owner it made me feel at ease with someone so knowledgeable showing me and telling me about my sewer. 10/10 will hire integrity sewer solutions again!"

"

The clean-up was fine, it's the pricing that was concerning.

I was very disappointed in the billing and cost of the services Dry Air Restoration (Shakopee, MN) provided.  The first estimate came back at $1925.00, but once they found out insurance was going to cover the clean up costs, their bill jumped up to $3,686.52 for the exact same services as indicated in their initial estimate.  We were told by this organization, that if insurance was covering the claim, they bill differently than if the bill will be paid for without insurance.

I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable recommending a company that takes advantage of its customers like this.  Regardless if insurance covers the clean-up and repair, the work performed is the same.

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Sometimes, the drain is just too clogged—thanks, stubborn hair and soap scum. In this case, you’ll need a more powerful drain cleaner than you can DIY safely at home. But this doesn’t mean you have to choose a traditional drain cleaner.

You can find biodegradable drain cleaners at your local home improvement store or online for those drains that need a little more oomph

While on the hunt for a formidable drain cleaner, the best options are non-chemical clog solutions that combine enzymes and bacteria.

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.

If used correctly and sparingly, root killer shouldn’t damage your pipes. Make sure to follow the instructions on the back of the bottle or the company’s website to avoid any unintended damages. However, when it comes to copper sulfate, it’s better to avoid it. This type of root killer can damage your plumbing and the surrounding environment.
