Emergency services offered

"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"We are nearly complete working with Jamie on our home renovation project, and could not be more excited with the outcome. Throughout the process, Jamie worked with us on our vision and had many creative and artistic ideas that are now part of our remodel. Jamie and his crew along with the electrician and plumber were all respectful of our space, and our home, leaving each day with everything cleaned up of all materials. The progression of the project was thoroughly communicated to us, so there were no surprises along the way. The quality and uniqueness of the work from a custom wood staircase detail and design advice were exceptional. We work together to create custom spaces, from the powder room to the sauna that Jamie designed himself. We are impressed with the quality of work that Jamie and all involved provided during the remodel. Jamie‘s fun and friendly demeanor made the process an enjoyable experience for our whole family. Craftwerk has transformed our home into a modern unique space that we will enjoy for years to come. Stevie DeGiulio"

"Rossbach was excellent to work with every step of the way!  The design and estimate were arranged promptly and then reviewed with us in detail to verify and make any corrections.  Prices were fair for the level of quality we wanted, and we were given lots of choices about materials, price levels, etc. The work went fairly close to schedule and subcontractors were all very good.  Great attention to quality and detail and the final results exceeded our expectations.  They were also very responsive to our extra requests while the project was underway and worked very hard to exceed our expectations.  Ron Rossbach did fabulous work not only in the construction he did himself, but also in supervising the rest of the subcontractors involved.  All crews worked very neatly and always left our house in good shape at the end of the day when we returned home.  Great job in matching wood work, lighting, etc.  Most importantly, communications was excellent throughout the project -- we were always kept informed of what was happening, any problems that came up, timelines, etc.  What is nice about this company is that they provide high quality workmanship but are not so big that they don't have time to pay attention to communication and the project details.  When the project was done, they even swept out our garage and re-set some mousetraps in some of the basement areas they had accessed!

Custom Home Builders questions, answered by experts

Green homes are often more expensive to build, averaging around $200 per square foot compared to the $150 per square foot you’d spend to build a standard home. However, green homes can save you money on your utility bills by consuming less energy or creating energy using solar panels or wind turbines on-site. They’re more expensive to build, but they often end up costing less in the long run.

While it’s never too early to start planning for a major home improvement project like a home addition, give yourself at least a month or two to plan and design your addition, find a contractor, and get the permits in order. For larger projects like a second-story addition that require designing with an architect, plan on three to four months of preparation.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

A carriage house is a freestanding building, while a townhouse is connected to other units. A townhouse is a full single-family home and typically shares a parcel of land with other connected homes. A carriage house is rarely used as the sole single-family home on a property and is most often an additional building sharing property with a traditional single-family home.
