"The first piece I had done was the loveseat. Sarah helped me pick out the fabric and fabric that would match my future pieces, and even transported the loveseat both before and after the work was done. Once the fabric was ordered and arrived, Sarah discovered the fabric was going to be too short to cover a one piece cushion, but I specifically did NOT want two cushions on the loveseat; Sarah came up with a very clever solution to increase the length of the fabric, not show any seams and create a one cushion solution. My passion is creating one of a kind custom pieces of furniture. I love to restore vintage pieces. When you restore an older piece of furniture you get a unique custom piece that will last you much longer than a new piece of furniture will! Don't recycle your old furniture restyle it!

"Kim is a gifted upholsterer. I needed three very specific sized and shaped cushions to level off a bucket-seat sofa. The sofa was/is fine for sitting, but I wanted to lie down on it and needed three cushions designed to fit the three seats. Kim had many kinds of leather and fabrics from which to choose and offered them in a no pressure manner. My only regret is that it took a long time to get them because they were a "small order" relatively speaking, and Kim worked them in when she could between her larger orders. Kim does beautiful work and the cushions fit the sofa just the way I hoped they would."

I am the business owner, who upholsters the furniture, sews the projects, does the estimates, the pick ups and deliveries. I even have to do the cleaning up! I do some of the design work, the rest is done by the designers that hire me to complete their projects. I have a B.S. design degree from the University of Mn and and Upholstery degree for the Minneapolis Technical College.
