Very patient, Knowledgeable and helpful. He came on our home once on a Saturday and once in an evening bringing samples. And now the sofa looks beautiful.

Cannot say enough good things about how my project turned out. Lonnie is a true craftsman! He made my 20 year old chairs and ottoman look brand new. He has an extensive selection of fabrics and ordered numerous samples for me to choose from. This is not a speedy process but if you have upholstered furniture you want to keep, it's totally worth it.

The couch was originally from Sofas and Chairs, purchased 25 years ago and used continuously since. Lonnie told us the structure was great and could be very successfully reupholstered. We picked out and purchased a fabric we chose at S.R. Harris. The couch came back today and it is gorgeous! I could not be happier with the results. We essentially have a brand-new, high-quality sofa for the price of a cheap new one that would never hold up to constant wear.

The job went very well. He is busy so it took a bit, but that is a sign of someone in demand who does great work. Lonnie is awesome. The work is amazing and we are so pleased with all of the pieces he refinished. The color was spot on and the finish looks great. We will have these pieces in the home for a lifetime.

He did a spectacular job, stripping and sanding, restaining and varnishing the entire set. He told me they would look good as new--I took that with a grain of salt (how could they?) but they actually do. He made repairs, replaced missing plugs/buttons, tightened/replaced loosened screws. He worked with care and respect for these pieces, and dropped by to check the final stain color to be sure before during the final varnish. When he returned them the table was a tiny bit wobbly, and he worked diligently (even making a return to his studio to get the right feet/protectors to adjust the height--it was just a matter of where/what kind of protective feet were on the tables pedestal) to make sure it was firm and stable before he completed the job. It took some time to get on his schedule, and the start of the work was a bit delayed, but the results and quality were well worth the wait. Lonnie was the real deal--a craftsman in his work!

Poor customer service terrible workmanship and not bothered either about quality of work Compared his work to a new car you don’t look under it when you buy one blemishes sagging cushions split leather and stuffing coming out are just a few things wrong and refuses to come back and rectify the situation very sad as I trusted him to do a good job no recommendations coming from me on his shoddy work and ethics shame on him

Job went amazingly well! Lonnie wanted us very involved - so we knew everything going on (i.e. when he was a little bit back logged after they'd already picked up table), had us come in to review a few stain options and let us take it home to see in natural lighting to ensure we'd be pleased with final stain choice. He had us come in one last time prior to finishing table to ensure we were happy with the new table finishing. He offered the right price for the project (most other estimates were double), plus made sure to stay in touch with us even before we booked the job (and not in an annoying way) - super smart business man:) Already thinking about my next project I want to do with him!

Great, they provided the leather and did a wonderful job! Looks great and should last a long time.

Lonnie did a beautiful job on my chairs. Love them! What really impressed me initially is that the other upholsterers I contacted for quotes simply provided an on-line estimate. Lonnie came to my house to look at my furniture to make sure it was worth reupholstering (quality wise). He’s a pro.

Lonnie did a fabulous job. He was helpful with fabric selection and purchase. The couch is beautifully done and the end table looks brand new. He was easy to work with and delivery and pick up went smoothly.

We provided the fabric, outstanding service, beautiful work, very responsive to phone calls and on time.

Not well. First, he was ~6 weeks late in collecting my piece. Then, the "due date" became later and later. When it was finally delivered, I was speechless. I cancelled the check and asked him to refund my deposit. He claims I wasn't clear regarding my instructions. Say what now? I showed him pictures. He said he would return it to it's original beauty, sans cloudiness. You would *never* be able to see the ornate in-laid work if I didn't tell you. I will *never* recommend or use him. Poor form. Just amazingly poor form on every level.

Lonnie was a professional in every respect of this job. Drove 15+ miles to give me a quote, kept me apprised of his progress, was on time for the return. Another small, but important, aspect.. When he returned the wedge, it looked and smelled brand new. No hint of smoke or shop smells.

We just couldn't part with our beloved white modern leather sectional in our family room but with 2 teenage boys, 2 pets and lots of visiting family, it was looking pretty rough. The leather had turned more creme than the original white, had some scratches from the oets a lot of wear marks, and one seam that had popped completely. When the couch arrived back, it literally looked like new. I know folks say that a lot, but it was beautiful. They team took care of loading on/off including the stairs at no extra charge and set up. They even took the plastic wrap with them when they left. I would definitely use them again.

Lonnie was great. Very professional. Was willing to rake in the chair the same day he came to give me an estimate. Took a week before it was returned. Chair looks great.

They are one of the only ones at all that do leather repair. It was very good. He did a very good job. He came out to the house. It is never easy to find them, people don't do it anymore apparently. I need to use them again.

Initially my furniture looked great. I was told it should look like new for another 10+ years. Within a matter of months it began to look as bad as when Lonnie first repaired it. I contacted him and he did say that it was unusual for it to look so bad so soon. We set up a time for him to look at it but I had to reschedule the date. I called him and had to leave a message to reschedule. I asked for a call back and he has never contacted me. I have tried to reach him numerous times, always getting his voicemail. I have sent numerous emails, the last one at the end of November. My furniture was first repaired in February of last year. I told him if he was too busy to fit me into his schedule, to at least let me know that so I could try to get my furniture repaired by Christmas by someone else. I never heard back.

So.... I spent almost $1400.00 and my furniture looks no better than before he came. I am very angry because I am out the money with nothing to show for it. I hope you take this review to heart because this is unethical behavior. He did not honor his warranty. I hope you seriously consider removing him from your list of recommended providers. I am a little leary now of even your recommendations after this experience.

It looks like new. I am very happy with the results.

Lonnie promised to complete all of the work by Thanksgiving, and he did what he said he would do. The recliner repair was completed first, and took a bit longer than anticipated because he needed to order leather that matched the rest of the chair exactly. The recliner looked like new when it was delivered. The white leather sofa had absorbed dirt over time and the dye was worn off in some spots. When it was delivered back to us, it looked like new. He also repaired damage to the fabric on a chair by reupholstering it with the intact fabric from the back of the chair. We were very pleased with the quality of the work that was done. We will use this company for any future furniture repair.

It was a big project and had to be moved back to the shop for this work. We were without our couch for 2 1/2 weeks, but the wait was worth it. They picked it up and returned it all wrapped with plastic wrap. Lonnie gave us enough of the leather vital to do two complete conditionings along with instructions as to how to do it.
This was an expensive couch to purchase in the first place, and we felt bad that we had neglected it for 10 years. It looks and quot;showroomand quot; nice and the additional filling in the backs and cushions makes it stand out in our family room.
Lonnie said his work and quot;would restore the leather back to a very good conditionand quot;, but we happy that the this reconditioning far exceeded our expectations. I would be happy to send an iPhone picture if Lonnie needs a reference.

We had purchased unfinished cabinets and attempted to stain them ourselves in order to get our home ready to put up for sale. Unfortunately, the cabinet doors had not come out very well due to our inexperience. We first called Advanced Furniture Repair to get an estimate on just the stripping so we could redo the staining. But the price was fairly reasonable to do the whole job, and we had wanted our house on the market already so were in a bit of a time crunch. He knew that we wanted them done quickly and estimated 10-12 days. But one week later we got the call that they were finished! The cabinets look great, he came to pick the doors up and dropped them off. When he picked the doors up he was very careful to find a piece that was the right color to make sure he color matched them all to our cabinet backs. We are very happy with our experience here!
