"Very thorough, we did not have the best experience with our previous company. We were surprised at the “extras” Clearene provided vs the previous company. Will definitely reach out to them again for pool opening."

"I came across various resurfacing pool company?s with crazy prices but was relieved I when I found Elite construction pools they are competitive and great with pricing, Jose is a great guy. His crew is hard working and he stayed in communication throughout the whole process, I would highly recommend Elite Pools if you are looking to do work on your pool. "Bob, is a very knowledgeable guy in so many areas and very willing to answer questions. Not only did he do our hot tub repair but handled 3 other projects as well. Although some leaks kept persisting in the hot tub, he kept coming back until everything was done right. If we have any other repairs needed in the future, he's the guy I'll call first. Highly recommended!"

Pool Construction and Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

Land surveys are worth it in several scenarios including selling your home, building an addition, constructing a fence, or making major changes to your landscape. A professional land survey can help you avoid legal issues with your neighbors and confirm the value of your property. In many cases, you may be required to order a land survey to receive a construction permit or mortgage loan.

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
