Our family is new to Owatonna, and we own a business downtown. When we called our Business provider about residental service, they were quite honest that they were way behind, and couldnt start service for up to Ten days. Having all of the papers, cardboard, trash etc from moving, we couldnt wait so we called Nationally known Waste Management, that has a local office.
FIRST RED FLAG was bragging and actually putting down other companies by name - we should have moved on.,..
SECOND RED FLAG we were told "well get your conatiners out to you "shortly", we should have demanded a date as we thought they ment that day!
THIRD RED FLAG Seven days later, and three phone calls later, we got our dumpster and were told it had to be curbside by 6AM as we were the first stop on the route.
FOURTH (do you see a pattern yet?) They totally skipped us on the first scheduled pick up day - we watched as they drove right down the street and totally didnt bat an eye at one of their dumpsters (the competition has different colors than WM)
FIFTH They got in kind of an "argument" with us about wether it was out curbside before they even contacted their route driver (we put it out the night PRIOR)
SIXTH They never credited us for the missed pickup
SEVENTH ( in only seven weeks of service) They skipped us again the 4th week.
EIGHTH LAst week I knew I was heading out of town, so we again put the container curbside at 4PM Thursday for Friday pickup. You guessed it, got home from an out of State Funeral and my Garbage was STILL THERE. When we called them, WM in Owatonna blamed "Subcontractors" that "sometimes get running behind on their route and they just skip our (WM) stuff and go home". REALLY? Thats what we were told. The supervisor said he would CREDIT our account AND that someone would be out Tuesday AM to pick it up. It is Tuesday at 6:40PM and no pick up. <y container is still curbside, overflowing NOW, and the city is complaining to ME.
I do not reccomend them at all - stick local, like Stewerts or something.
UPDATE" June 12 2014 We cancelled service completely via phone over 14 days ago because they had not come to do a pick up until MONDAY. To Date, they have not picked up the dumpster despite our requests to do so.
I’m very happy with the service provided by Paul and Jim. Paul was prompt in his response to calls and emails. I highly recommend A-One Carpet Cleaning!

G&M did an excellent job. I called knowing I had some pretty odorous carpet that needed replacement. I had a few ideas in mind, but wasn't exactly sure how to go about it. They showed up, gave samples, provided multiple quotes for different areas, qualities, etc. and even offered additional...

FAQs for dumpster service projects in Baxter, MN
A 2-cubic-yard dumpster, usually the smallest dumpster available to rent, typically costs between $75 to $125 per week. This size is good for small home remodeling projects, spring cleaning, or small demolition projects. You can check into junk removal to find out if it makes more sense for you to go with a dumpster rental or a junk removal service.
The best way to choose the right dumpster size for what you need is to talk to a reputable dumpster rental company. Let them know what job you’re doing and the representative should be able to guide you in choosing the best dumpster to handle the job depending on the size of the job and the type of material you’re disposing of.
A 20-yard dumpster is the most common dumpster rental size, which typically costs about $275 to $700 per week. This size is most common because it’s likely to have enough room for a wide variety of projects from large spring cleaning, home remodeling, or new construction. A 20-yard dumpster can fit in most residential driveways, avoiding the need for permits to keep it in the street. Just be aware that having a dumpster delivered on your driveway may cause scratches, cracks, or scrapes in your pavement, as well as needing to find another parking spot for any vehicles.
Ultimately, your needs may vary. It’s usually a good idea to err on the side of renting a larger dumpster than you might need.
Dumpster rental costs about $390 per week, on average, depending on the size of the dumpster and the material you’re disposing of. The price range for dumpster rental can be as low as $80 per week and as high as $850 per week for a larger commercial-sized container. Typical dumpster rental price ranges include:
Dumpster bag: $100–$200
Residential dumpster: $100–$300
Trash or junk hauling service: $150–$400
Roll-off dumpster: $200–$800
The price difference between a 10-yard and a 15-yard dumpster is anywhere from $15 to $200 per week. A 10-yard dumpster rental costs about $225 to $450 per week and a 15-yard dumpster costs about $240 to $650 per week. A 10-yard dumpster is suitable for medium-sized cleanup or small renovation projects like kitchen cabinets or small bathrooms. The 15-yard dumpster can handle projects like small porch or patio demolition, small bathroom or kitchen remodels, or about 1,500 square feet of shingles removed for a roofing project.
