"They were very prompt and professional. A heavy snowfall had just covered the area and we weren't familiar with any local snow removal services. Angie's list put us in touch with Barton's cutting edge and they said they would come look at the job and give an estimate. They came the following morning, (with no one home) called and agreed with the price and started immediately. They even texted a pic of the finished job and allowed to set up payment via email. However, the exception is if you live in or near a wildlife conservation area, which could require permits and consent prior to beginning the demolition. Check with a local regulatory agency for more information.

You can add a roof to most decks, but you need to have it inspected first. If your deck didn’t come with a roof initially, it may not be able to handle the weight without some structural changes. You can add additional supports to your existing deck to safely add a roof, and tying your deck’s roof to an exterior wall can help add some structural stability, but remember these aren’t DIY projects and need to be left to a pro.
