"They started 8/17. I asked for everything to be white, with an accent wall in 3 rooms all of a gray. Agreed on a pop of dark gray also on a ledge and a small wall. The 18th I came home to find, the laundry room, sm hallway, kitchen and 3 of the livingroom walls all gray. I called Chris he got so riled up and said I never said no such thing, called me a liar multiple times, over talked when I tried speaking. I said I would be calling Angi, he went all kinds of ugly. He said no your not this is my livelihood. He said he'd make a report the following morning, call my how, and bring the police. After he kept over talking me, I hung up on him. He then texted me. We left it as for him to fix the issue would cost me an extra 750.00. I still have his texts. That Thursday I came home to a empty 5 gallon of paint and a empty gallon of paint in my garage, a light fixture don't put back up. (I have cathedral ceilings ugh."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can technically use a pressure washer to remove paint from brick, but it comes with a significant risk of damaging the brick surface. A high-power pressure washer can be fast but may leave the brick looking unsightly. The recommended method is to first apply a chemical paint stripper, following the product's instructions, and then use a stiff metal bristle brush or a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting to remove the loosened paint. Due to the risk of damage, it is often best to hire a professional who can use low-stress methods.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

It’s a good idea to sand your porch before painting. This will remove loose or chipped paint and debris, and give you a cleaner surface so that your new paint goes on smoothly. But if the existing surface is in good condition, it’s not necessary to sand your porch before you paint.

The list of what removes caulk residue includes rubbing alcohol. In some cases, rubbing alcohol can also help remove water-based caulk. However, old caulk or caulk that’s in layers from years of upkeep and projects might prove to be too much for simple rubbing alcohol and may require a caulk-removing solution from a home improvement store.

Paint removal is a time-consuming job that can take anywhere from an hour for small surfaces, like a single stair banister, to multiple days for larger projects, like removing paint from wood siding. Expect to spend between five and 20 minutes per square foot. You can use chemical paint strippers to speed up the process, but be sure you use proper protective gear and take care to pick a product that’s suited for your material.
