"Worst workmanship I’ve ever seen. Basement still leaks, the system they installed does not drain water into the sump crock looks like water is now being diverted under the floor. Owner never came out to look at what his employees call a finished job. I was quoted by Dennis $56 a foot in the basement and when I got upstairs it was actually $59, red flag. I was quoted and designed a system and they installed another. Look at pics and you decide if you want to hire these hacks and liars. One other thing the workers mixed the Qiukrete next to my furnace that was running and the whole house was filled with concrete dust."

Concrete houses cost 10% to 20% more to build than stick-built homes, and maintenance on home systems is more invasive and expensive due to pipes and wires being buried in concrete. Concrete homes can also look more industrial and less comfortable if you don’t cover the concrete with finishing materials. While most of the grass below newly poured concrete will die, some will grow through the cracks and around its edges with ease. Some grasses and weeds can even widen hairline cracks in your foundation, particularly the inevitable concrete cracks that form during the curing process. Cost and age are two factors to consider when determining if you should repair or replace your concrete driveway. If your existing driveway is on the older side and the cost of repairs is 50% or more of its value, it might be worth replacing it. Additionally, dry pour concrete is less durable and less resistant to cracking and concrete sinking, so dry pouring over an existing slab may result in surface imperfections appearing prematurely.

Factors like the time of day you choose to seal the concrete, temperature, humidity, and airflow will impact drying time. To shorten the drying time, seal concrete in the late afternoon on a day with a temperature between 45 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
