Rich and his crew repaired several areas on house where the stucco was missing down to the cement block. The largest area was about 3 foot in diameter before peeled off the loose area surrounding it. There were a few area along the ground they pulled the dirt back and repaired them all the way down. We also had several badly worn and chipped corners with 2-6" chips the finished corner edges are great. They also ground out multiple cracks (at lease 50', probably more I did not measure) and filled them in with stucco and left a very nice finish on all areas.
They did a very nice and professional job. I am sure once I get the paint there will be no trace of their work.
"They arrived on time and first power washed the house exterior. They replaced stucco and trim boards that were in poor shape, installed new boards, scraped old paint, nailed back a falling soffit trim, primed, caulked, and painted the house. They secured a deck post that was off center, and installed a new garage door trim segment. Upon completing the entire exterior painting; they washed the exterior window panes, and cleaned up -- all done with a positive attitude. They did a great job. The house looks very nice."

One of the most significant downsides to stucco is the installation cost, which is higher than that of many other siding options because getting it to look clean and professional is a labor-intensive process. Stucco can also absorb water, making it an unsuitable option for siding in areas that see excessive rainfall. Finally, stucco can crack and chip, especially in extreme weather, and repairs are not only challenging and require help from a professional who does stucco, but can get expensive.

Failing to repair damaged stucco can lead to significant problems. Cracks can grow and deepen, allowing water and moisture to get behind the stucco. This moisture intrusion can cause water damage, structural issues, and mold or mildew growth. Delaying repairs will likely cost more in the long run as the damage worsens, so it's best to repair your stucco as soon as you notice any signs of damage, such as cracks, holes, or discoloration.
Solid, unpainted stucco shouldn’t suffer damage from dots of glue used for this task. If the stucco is dirty, you may notice slight marks when you heat and peel the glue away, but these aren’t permanent.
However, not all stucco walls are solid stucco. Some are “faux” stucco with a foam backing. This kind of stucco veneer is more susceptible to damage, including damage from hot glue. We don’t suggest attaching anything to these kinds of stucco walls, so make sure you check the stucco type before starting this project.
The length of time shouldn’t matter much if you stick with lightweight Christmas lights and similar decorations. Those shouldn’t pose risks to your stucco. You should avoid attaching anything to your stucco that could fall because it’s too heavy, which may take part of the stucco with it. Some methods, like using double-sided tape or adhesive hooks, will naturally wear out over time and lead to falling lights, so don’t expect to leave these lights up year-round.
