"Mike was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and did an EXCELLENT job with the installation of the "original hidden pet fence!" I am very grateful that Mike called me back right away and that he was able to come out sooner than I expected. I've finally got peace of mind for my puppy, Ziggy! Thank you Mike!"

"The customer service and the friendliness was beyond compare. They sent us emails and also text us before and after the work was finished. The guys that installed our electric fence were friendly, efficient and so very nice---especially to our two dogs. Very highly recommend!"

"Mike came out to check out problem with an existing fence same day I called him. He squeezed us into his busy schedule and was here after hours putting in all new wire for my failed dog fence that was from another company. He diagnosed problem and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He is polite, knowledgeable and very hard working. Price was reasonable for the amount of hard work him and his partner had to do. I would strongly recommend this company."

"Derrick was dependable, organized, efficient and cost was reasonable. Many people in this industry do not return calls, ask astronomical amount of money and still have no shows days Very pleased with his service and we are keeping his name for future services!"

"The project went really well, and I couldn't be happier. Just as I requested, the new railing looks exactly like the old railing. There were some issues with installing it into the existing concrete steps, and Rick Gleason found a solution that really worked well. The new railing is sturdy and looks great."

Animal Fencing FAQs, answered by experts

While you might want to cut corners by either borrowing or purchasing used live traps for catching rats, this can be dangerous because those traps could contain leftover viruses and bacteria that will enter your home. Always start fresh with new materials to avoid contamination.

Take a few preventative measures to prevent mice from chewing your car wires. First, consider adding a few drops of a taste deterrent, such as pine-based floor cleaner or peppermint oil. Also, regularly starting your vehicle, even if you don't drive it frequently, can discourage rodents from nesting in the engine bay, as they prefer quieter and sheltered environments. Finally, consider leaving your car's hood up at night when parked in a garage, which makes the engine bay less inviting for rodents as it becomes less dark, warm, and comfortable.

There are DIY methods and store-bought pesticides available for the public to use. However, these pesticides also come with a risk, and you need to follow the directions correctly and take precautionary measures to prevent exposure to these chemicals. These methods may be an option for small pest problems, but you should call in a pest control specialist for persistent pests and infestations.

Even if you have extreme ophidiophobia (fear of snakes), don’t try to shoot or kill them with a shovel. Besides being pretty cruel, killing snakes in most states is illegal unless your life is at risk and many species are protected.

Plus, you're putting yourself at greater risk using these techniques if it goes wrong and the now-angry snake is venomous.

You can often spot a venomous snake by looking for a few key physical characteristics. Venomous snakes typically have bulbous triangular-shaped heads due to their venomous sacks, whereas regular snake heads are more rounded and narrow. A venomous snake will also have narrow slits for pupils, while non-venomous snakes have more rounded pupils. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the venomous snakes that are native to your area, but if you find a snake in your toilet, it’s best to keep a safe distance and call a professional for proper identification and removal.
