"I have been trying for 2 years to get our fireplace fixed and could not find anyone to even come out and look at it. I saw an ad for Angi’s list and contacted them. They sent me 4 different companies that could do the work and, after checking the reviews, I selected RPF Construction. Robert contacted me immediately, came to the house, outlined everything he would do and gave me a price, which I agreed to. Robert and Tom came the next week with all of the parts that were needed. They started at 8:30 a.m and finished at 4:00 p.m. the same day. We have an airtight freestanding fireplace and they replaced all of the pipe, from the top of the fireplace, through the roof and all outside components. There was a leak in the roof that caused some rust and peeling paint on the firebox. They sanded it down and repainted it, where it stands, without getting paint on anything else. Even the silver screws they painted black. We are so happy with the excellent job that they did!!!"

"Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. Yes, it’s possible to convert an oil furnace to gas. However, you may have to replace the furnace completely instead of simply converting it. If the original oil furnace has had any type of damage or is older (typically considered over 15 years old), then you will likely need a full replacement versus a conversion.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

The easiest way to empty a propane tank is to simply use it until no propane remains. If you’re short on time and need a faster solution, transfer the propane to another tank instead. Wear leather gloves to protect your hands, then connect the hoses from both propane tanks and seal them tightly. Turn the knob to open the supply tank valve on the full tank and let it run until the pressure pushes all the propane into the other tank. When all propane is transferred, remove the hose and seal each tank.
