Small jobs welcome

"I found Nate through a posting he had on Facebook marketplace place for Adirondack chairs. He was quiick to respond to my messages and delivered the chairs right away. The chairs were nicely made. Nate was very personable. We had just moved into a new house and needed a number of other furniture pieces to fill out the guest house. Nate was receptive in listening to what I was looking for, asked good questions, made suggestions and had good follow through. Throughout the course of a couple of months, he made us a swing, dining room table and benches, mango wood bench and side tables, butcher block coffee table and side tables and refinished a dresser he found for me. It's been 2 years and the pieces are holding up well. The prices were more than fair. Sometimes I felt like they were too low and would offer more money due to the time he must have spent on the pieces."

That means a complete cabinet schedule, sized and specified for your room, not a rough guess.\n\nWe work with established cabinet lines, including shaker, painted, and wood finishes, and every design comes with a budget range before final supplier pricing. Whether you're remodeling, replacing cabinets, or planning a kitchen in new construction, you start with a design you can actually see.\n\nStarting your design takes about ten minutes, and it's free with no obligation. Upholstering questions, answered by experts

Consider durability, color, texture, room use, and personal style when selecting fabric. Fabrics like linen, cotton, or microfiber offer versatility and strength.

Interior and exterior door openings are typically 80 inches high, with openings 29¼ inches wide for interior doors and 35 inches wide for exterior doors. If your couch is smaller than these measurements, it should fit through the door frame.

DIY upholstery is feasible for simple pieces with the right tools and skills, though intricate jobs typically require professional expertise for the best results.

The process usually takes 1-2 weeks, and it is highly influenced by the materials, complexity of the project, and any customization desired.

To safeguard your furniture and upholstered items, it's best to use plastic wrap or specially-made plastic sofa covers. However, you should avoid wrapping wooden furniture in plastic if you plan on storing it, as plastic can trap moisture and warp the wood, plus it may damage certain finishes. In either case, old blankets or moving blankets make excellent alternatives. For protecting delicate glass table tops and mirrors, bubble wrap is always a reliable choice.
